I am a June bride myself and although my weddinginvitation was very funny,

I seem to make black and white cards a lot because I think they are very chic.

 

So this one I have made with my latest embossingfolder by We R Memory Keepers and I sooooooooooo love it!

And I finished it with pearls, it is amazing!!!!

Deze week staan we in de trouwstand, want veel bruidjes trouwen nu eenmaal in juni!

Hoewel onze trouwkaart heel grappig was (een karikatuur) val ik nu eenmaal vaak op zwart/witte trouwkaarten om te maken, omdat ik ze zo chic vind!

Ik heb deze gemaakt met mijn nieuwste embossingfolder!

Deze kwam ik online tegen en die moest ik hebben, zo mooi in het echt

en ik heb het afgemaakt met pareltjes!

Hij is werkelijk prachtig!

Anniversary / Trouwdag

Hi, this week was our best friends Weddinganniversary and ofcourse I had to make them a special card. I think I have managed that. I had to use the Owl Punch from Stampin Up (one of my favorites) and punched two out. Then I made a paper which looks likes it is ripped out of a book, but I really made it! It is from a Post-it block (from one of my favorite stores HEMA) and I placed this on a piece of warm yellow CS (my BFF and I both don't like yellow but this is the approved one...lol) and I combined it with orange DSP. I placed a clip in matching colors. The eyes I made from floor protectors!!! They come in all sizes, aren't they amazing!!! The plastic heart I have used on the weddingcard I made earlier, this is the orange version, plastic fantastic!

Our friends loved it!

Deze week was de trouwdag van onze beste vrienden en daarom moest ik natuurlijk een mooie kaart voor ze maken!! En ik denk dat dat aardig gelukt is. Ik heb de uilenpons van Stampin Up gebruikt (een van mijn favorietjes) en heb er 2 geponst. Vervolgens heb ik een notitieblaadjes gemaakt van een Post-it blokje van de HEMA, het lijkt alsof ik hem zo uit een boekje heb gescheurd( dat hoort ook zo) maar ik heb het écht zelf gemaakt. Vervolgens heb ik een gele kaart als basis gebruikt (mijn beste vriendin en ik houden helemaal niet van geel maar dit is de warme versie en is dus goedgekeurd, hihi). Daarbij heb ik oranje achtig papier gebruikt en een clip in bijpassende kleuren. De ogen van de uiltjes heb ik gemaakt van vloerbeschermers! Die kun je allerlei maten krijgen, zijn ze niet gewéldig? Het plastic hartje heb ik eerder gebruikt op een huwelijkskaart, deze keer is het de kleur oranje! Onze vrienden vonden hem erg mooi.

Busy weekend/ Druk weekend

Hi everyone,

It is a great sunny weekend and I have been busy again with cardmaking.

This week a colleque had asked me if I could make her a card for a wedding she had this Friday!! I love "pressure" so...luckily for me she had brought the weddingannouncement so I could be inspired by the card! And I did!

The card was supercute, with silver and green (my favorite color green YEAH) so I went into my craftroom and picked all the items I could find in these colors! It is so wonderful to do this, because then all the ideas pop into my head and all I have to do then is to compose, the fun part!

The bride and groom had ask for money, so I made an envelop inside as well to put the donation (LOL) in!

Here is the result. Did you know I use a lot of wallpapersamples at the moment? They are free (which I love) and the perfect size for cardmaking! I love them!!!
So the silver on the card is a sample of wallpaper! Brilliant I thought!
The green hearts I got at a local Chinese shop where my BFF and I shop for beads and others stuff we use to make our jewelry Thanks to mobile phones my colleque informed me that not only she loved the card but the bride and groom as well! Isn't that just wonderful to hear??

Een collega van mij vroeg mij deze week of ik nog een leuke kaart kon maken voor een bruiloft die ze deze vrijdag had...ik hou van druk op de ketel! Gelukkig had ze de trouwkaart meegenomen, zodat ik inspiratie op kon doen! En de kleuren op de kaart waren zo leuk, zilver en limegroen (mijn favoriete kleur groen). Zodra ik thuis kwam heb ik alle spulletjes gepakt in deze kleuren, zo ga ik meestal aan de slag en dan schieten de ideeën in mijn hoofd en het enige wat ik dan hoef te doen is samenstellen en maken, het leukste gedeelte!! De plastic hartjes heb ik gekocht bij een Chinees kralenwinkeltje, waar mijn vriendin en ik ook onze spullen halen om onze sieraden te maken
Het grijze is een stukje behang, gratis af te halen bij een Praxis of Gamma, heerlijk, vooral het gratis gedeelte spreekt me altijd enorm aan en ze zijn de perfecte maat voor als je een kaart wilt maken (10x15). Aan de binnenkant heb ik een envelopje geplakt voor het geld, wat het bruidspaar had gevraagd als cadeautip! Ik vind hem erg goed geslaagd en mijn collega en zelfs het bruidspaar heb ik inmiddels vernomen, vonden het allemaal een hele mooie kaart!Heerlijk om te horen!

Some bunny to love

Hi,

I was asked to make a "Congratulations on your Wedding card" and it only needed some kind of rabbit and blue and white.
I got card blanche! The best.

The only thing was I didn't have enough light blue DSP so I deceided to make it turqoise because I had the matching ink and I wanted to use a great stamp I got from my BFF from Craft Smart, she bought it at Michaels (so wish we had one of those over here) and it is number 125531 (in case you want to get it)

I think it is thé most adorable wabbit (Tweety) I have ever seen!!

So I got this card (13x13cm) color white, then I used DSP from Nerdy Bird (the back side) and then I embossed paws through my cuttlebug, to give the illusion of rabbit footprints. Then I stamped the rabbit twice with StazOn Teal Blue. Used a die I bought at My Creative Time, which I now use all the time! I then created the phrase myself in Word "Found some bunny to love and to marry".

And as the finishing touch I made a flower to match!

My friend who asked me totally loves it!

Ik ben gevraagd een felitatiekaart te maken voor een aanstaand huwelijk. De enige richtlijnen die ik had waren konijnen en (licht)blauw en wit, verder mocht ik mijn fantasie erop los laten, hou daar van!
Maar ik had helemaal niet echt leuke designpapier maar wel hele leuke turkoois, dus heb ik die genomen, is ook nog blauw en ik had inkt die er perfect bij paste want ik wilde dolgraag een stempel met konijntje gebruiken, die ik van mijn beste vriendin uit Amerika heb gekregen, hij is zo poepig! Ik heb een witte kaart genomen als basis (13x13cm)toen turkoois papier daarboven op, toen heb ik pootjes gemaakt met een mapje door mijn Cuttlebug. Toen 2 konijntjes gestempeld. En daarna een malletje gebruikt die ik onlangs heb gekocht bij My Creative Time, ik vind hem zo leuk, gebruik hem op dit moment erg vaak.
Toen zelf een tekstje verzonnen en dit werd "Found some bunny to love and to marry" en als finishing touch heb ik nog een bijpassende bloem gemaakt. Ik vind hem super leuk en gelukkig mijn vriendin ook, die hem heeft besteld.
