This week we will be sharing w/you LOTS of
last minute Christmas ideas, 
such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders
& what ever else comes to mind
that will help YOU get your creative juices
flowing for the holiday!

On the first day of Christmas
My Creative Time gave to you

and I made 2 different ones
one for Xmas and
one for Sinterklaas

And boy do we need them for all the presents
Santa brings each year...right?

And Emma was so nice to help Santa with this
and to help us at the same time!

So I deceided to make 2 options
1. when you have the cute DSP paper
2. when you don't have it and still want cute tags

This is what I made

I created a box to hold all the cute tags that you make to keep them in 1 spot! Or when you want to surprise someone with a nice gift!

In the Netherlands we are celebrating
Sinterklaas at this time !!!

He arrived by Steamboat all the way from Spain

on November 12th and will leave at December 6th

We celebrate his birthday on December 5th

when he brings lots of presents in a big jute bag!

So I helped Sinterklaas a bit and made 
an instant Sinterklaas evening
for December 5th
It holds chocolates in the shape of Sinterklaas,
Hot Chocolate, Sinterklaas Tea
and Pepernoten (Ginger cookies)

And this is the tag I made for it

My Creative Time - Giftcard Giving

 Welcome to another Gift Card Giving

Wednesday
at My Creative Time

 I love Giftcards because
they are easy to find and easy to give!

But.....it is even nicer if you can make a giftcard into
something with a WOW factor
and there are so many options in the MCT store

I am still in the Halloween Vibe after the 
amazing new release!

So I deceided to create my own box
which would fit a giftcard ofcourse
(piece of cardstock that measures
12 cm x 29,8 cm)

This is what I made and I love it

Happy Witchin (birthday stamp)
Square Tag Dies (the hearts)
Bunch of Fun Circle Dies

Tip:
The ribbon I used are the little pieces of ribbon

that they use in tshirts, I cut and save them.

Gift Card Giving - My Creative Time

 I love Giftcards because
they are easy to find and easy to give!

But.....it is even nicer if you can make a giftcard into

Because the weather has been gorgeous here, 
I wanted to make a giftcardholder to 
hold a giftcard for icecream!

And when I bought the giftcard, they giftpacked it
with a cone, how cool is that??
So  I just had to use that right??

Everybody likes icecream....right?

So I had the paper but wanted to make my own 
icecream...which ofcourse :) I did

This is what I made and I used Glossy Accents
to give the sprinkles more sprinkle

117th Release - Sneaky Peek #2 - My Creative Time

  Welcome to the 117th release

at My Creative Time

Today it is Sneaky Peek # 2
- Wonky Hearts

Like Emma, I just love love love hearts!
They make everything pretty, don't you think?

As you might know, our country
The Netherlands, has been in a heavy lockdown
since December 19th 2021!

Which basically means that only the supermarket
 is open for foods and drinks
But any shop that sells drinks and food are allowed 
to open too!

So lucky me, I found this cute little Cava bottle
with hearts at my favorite store

They had all their Valentine goodies out and 
I was very happy to find this and had to grab it!

And because the hearts on the bottle are a bit
wonky too I made a tag to go with it

This is what I made:

The little hearts I cut out of red cardstock
and kept the cut ones and cut the big
Wonky heart out of the cut little hearts and 
I then put the cut heart with little hearts 
on a white Wonky heart
and it looks amazing!

Tip:

Use the little hearts as well on a white heart
so you can make two labels 
It is a labour of love to die cut these hearts
but it is sooooo worth it

Tip 2

I cut the white bigger labels twice to turn it
into a mini card

Tip:

Before you put the top on the stocking, first put "the bells" on it
I used glue dots so they are sticky at the back so you can cover the back too!

My Creative Time - I Need A Favor

 Welcome to another "I need a Favor"
at My Creative Time

My number 1 thing I like to make are favors,
little gifts for people I know and
with these small gifts I like to surprise them.

Tomorrow we celebrate the Dutch "Halloween"

only it is not a dress up/scary festivity, I think it is much better

It is a festivity for childeren

On 11 November, children the country will be going door to door,

lanterns burning usually made at school 

with a light and adorably singing songs 

in exchange for candy.

It’s time for Saint Martin,
the second best-known saint in the Netherlands.

(Number one is ofcourse Sinterklaas)

Most of us get mini chocolate bars because
usually lots and lots of childeren will come to your door.

But unfortunately they pass my door a lot, 

so I will treat my co workers to some cute favors in honor of November 11th

This is what I made

This Shopping Bag Die holds 2 mini bars which is awesome.
I printed Dutch words on cardstock
to create my own background

I love this bag so much, if your paper is not too thick

you can run two pieces through your die cutting machine

and stick them together for this cute bag!

I folded the top to make it interesting

It's 3-D Wednesday at My Creative Time

 Welcome to another 3-D Wednesday

at My Creative Time

I love to make 3-D projects, they are my favorite!

We do not celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands, we have an alternative.
We celebrate on November 11th, it is called Sint Maarten"

The day is celebrated on the evening of 11 November 
(the day Saint Martin was buried) in the Netherlands,
where he is known as Sint-Maarten.

As soon it gets dark, children from the ages of 5 to 12
(primary school age) go door to door (mostly under parental supervision)
with hand-crafted lanterns made of paper,
singing songs such as "Sinte Sinte Maarten", to receive candy or fruit in return.

In the past, poor people would visit farms on the 11th of November
to get food for the winter.
In the 1600s,the city of Amsterdam held boat races on the lake IJ. 
400 to 500 light craft, both rowing boats and sailboats,
took part with a vast crowd on the banks.

But because the USA does celebrate, I try to find candy,
although there is hardly any, I found this cute Ghost PEZ holder

Tip:

Because I wanted Ghosty to really pop out of the treatbox
he needed a platform!

Which I made out of a piece of CS

it is 5,8 cm by 5,8 cm and scored at 1 cm on all 4 sides

How to make the card:

Use a piece of cardstock which is 18 cm by 5,5 cm

To convert from cm to inch click here

How to make the envelope:

Use a piece of cardstock which is 14 cm by 12,5 cm

Score at the long side at 2 cm and 8 cm

Score at the short side at 1 cm and 10,5 cm

And cut like the photo

And I put Gnomie on the bag, he is soooo adorable!!!!!

He is my favorite already! I made a cute Ghiradelli holder with my favorite flavor I got for Christmas! In the Netherlands we don't have Ghiradelli but any small candy fits in there!
