Peachy Keens - Just cards - Shape it Up

Over at Peachy Keen Stamp blog(love it!!) they have this great challenge!!

Peachy Keen Challenge 43 :: Just Cards :: Shape It Up!

•Design must be a card (Just Cards) and be a shaped card (something other than the standard square or rectangle.

I am a huge fan of the Peachy Keen faces and lucky for me I own a few! My latest addition, which I really wanted, was PKS-09 Snow Girl, I really wanted those faces with a carrot!!

So when I saw this challenge, I deceided to use this one and make a Snowgirl! I made a round card and embossed the top of the card with my Cuttlebug Folder Snowflakes, to give it a Wintery feel! Then I cut out two circles to make the Snowgirl. I stamped it with the cute little face and wrapped a pink scraf around here. I also made a little pink bow out of Twine to put on her head. The buttons on her belly are little pink hearts, after all she is a girl! Then I stamped a Wintersaying "Warm Winter wishes" only it is in Dutch, because I am Dutch :)

I just love it!! Thank you for this great Challenge!!!


Op de blog van Peachy Keen Stamp hebben ze een ontzettend leuke challenge, namelijk maak een kaart in een vorm. Ik ben een enorme fan van de Peachy Keen gezichtjes, ze zijn hier niet te krijgen, maar ik heb er gelukkig een aantal en ben er heel erg blij mee. Mijn laatste aanwinst, die ik echt graag wilde hebben, is een sneeuwpopgezichtje, met zo'n wortelneus!!

Dus toen ik deze Challenge zag, besloot ik er eentje te maken met dit gezichtje! Ik heb een ronde kaart gemaakt. De bovenkant heb ik geembossed met een sneeuwvlokken folder, die ik door de Cuttlebug heb gehaald. Vervolgens heb ik nog 2 cirkels gesneden om het Sneeuwpop meisje van te maken. Ik heb haar het leuke gezichtje gegeven en haar vervolgens een roze sjaal. De knopen op haar buik zijn hartjes en het stempeltje heb ik ook geembossed. Het is een stempeltje van de set van Eline's Words EC0138.

Peachy Keen Challenge

Hi, out of the comfort of my bed, (have a major headdache due to a cold I think) it is handy to have a phone with internet so I can enter a project to the Peachy Keen Challenge.



The challenge is:
Create a project with a pocket!
Whether it folds, tucks, or hides a treat,pockets are a fun way to add something extra!

I love Peachy Keen stamps since I found Emma at My Creative Time, she can do magic with the Peachy Keen stamps and I am glad she still uses them! I do not have a lot of Peachy Keen stamps but they ones I have I use a lot, they really bring a project to life! So for this project I used fuchsia pink CS and orange, love this colorcombo. I made a pocket out of the XL-die from My Creative Time. On top of this pocket I made a flower using the Cottage Cutz Potted Flower which includes 3 faces by Peachy Keen, I love them! Then I made a little card and used one of the Stamps of My Creative Time "You had me at Chocolate" picked the "Made with love" ánd I also used a stamp of My Pink Stamper from "Everyday Life"

I made this card for my BFF who lives in the U.S.A. and we have our 30th Anniversary coming up in March!! Can you believe that? We met through school, I wanted to improve my English and they found Diana for me, a match made in heaven!!! I will be visiting her in May, can't wait!!

Wat is internet toch makkelijk op je telefoon, als je ziek in bed ligt, dan kun je toch nog iets doen (lig met hoofdpijn op bed, verkoudheid zit dwars en ik ben een slechte patient!) Ik doe met met een challenge van Peachy Keen, waarbij je een zakje moet maken, waar je iets in kunt doen. Ik heb een kaart voor mijn beste vriendin in Amerika gemaakt, we zijn in maart 30 jaar vriendin! Via een schoolproject om mijn Engels te verbeteren, kreeg ik Diana, een lot uit de loterij!
Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de XL-die van My Creative Time en ook een stempel van haar set "You had me at Chocolate", ze maakt zulke geweldige dingen!! Ik ben blij dat ik bij haar kan bestellen zonder poespas! Het bloemtje komt van Cottage Cutz "Potted Flower" en de grote stempel komt van My Pink Stamper "Everyday Life".
