for our little cousin Kai, who turned 1

Just Cards - My Creative Time

 Welcome to another "Just Cards" 

at My Creative Time!

We all need cards right?

 I love sending them to the people I love, just because,
so when they come home they find
a little something in their mailbox!

And I am designing with the amazing new release!

As you might know, I love my coffee
and I love to give giftcards to my friends
in America, so they can enjoy their Starbucks!
I bought a bunch while I was there last March

And how fun to make a matching card to go with it!

So as you know Emma has her own 
6x6 Paper Pads and boy are they amazing
I really like the color combo's

Today I am playing with the amazing

And one of the amazing dies is a sock
and because we are having an addition
to our Family...
Our Niece and Nephew are having
a babyboy

I really wanted to make them a
babycard and I thought this set
is just perfect!

it is just too cutesie

Gift Card Giving - My Creative Time

 Welcome to another Gift Card Giving Wednesday
at My Creative Time

I love Giftcards because
they are easy to find and easy to give!

But.....it is even nicer if you can make a card into
something with a WOW factor
and there are so many options in the MCT store

So I made a card for my sweet friend who is
so brave and decided to change careers and 
will study to be a teacher and she will be awesome!

So during this studying she can use all the hot
drinks she can get right?

So I made this cute card

I changed it a little and put the cup on the card instead of
cutting it out of the card front

I cut the cup twice, once out of white
and once with the dotted DSP.
I love dotts

I glued them together but only glued the bottom part of 
the dotted DSP and the handle so it 
fitts a giftcard perfectly

It's Just Cards Thursday at My Creative Time

 Welcome to another "Just Cards" Thursday

at My Creative Time!

We all need cards right?

 I love sending them to the people I love, just because,
so when they come home they find a little surprise in their mailbox!

So keeping it into the Halloween vibe, I came across
an retired Halloween stamp of My Creative Time,
which had the sentiment "Batty for you" on it.

I was looking for a stamp like that because
I had bought some cute paper with bats on it.
But we can't use it in a project because
then people want to have it and it is no longer available

BUT.......fear not!
Emma has a solution for anything....ofcourse she does

Just combine and tadaaa I recreated it :)

This is what I made, not bat right?

The inside needs some love too right?

I think it is always a little bit more work
to come up with something cute for a guy, 

but with the help of My Creative Time it isn't that hard.

And you know me, I always try to stretch those dies
So when I was going through all the beautiful dies,

I saw the envelop and I thought.....

Vest!

So with a little adjustment it just came out 

way to cute more than I could imagine

And by using real buttons who happened to

be in the same color as my cardstock (YAY)

Tip:
How I create the pocket on the vest,
I used the negative piece from the Rainbow Dies

I deceided to make a birthdaycard, because I needed one!

It was my best friends birthday and I wanted to sent him a cute card!

I used a wooden stick to pop the message

Sooooo cute!

And with a blender pen I made the popcorn really buttery

I cut the popcorn out 4 times to give it a lot of dimension

My Creative Time - Mini Release

 Welcome to the Mini Release of My Creative Time

Today we have 2 new dies!!

And as soon as I received them the ideas were endless but
I picked the first one that came to mind!

You know me.....ofcourse I saw something....
it reminded me of cheese,
so I thought, why not make a cheesy card :)
and make a mouse to go with it!

As you know, I am Dutch and we have nice customs! 

When we have a party we like to serve cubes of cheese with flag, easy to pick, no use of fingers and it looks happy and cheerful!

So ofcourse I had to use a flag in my cute cheese card to make it a perfect one!

I so love that it is exactly as I pictured it in my mind!
