Remember them?

Because it is close to the end of school
I thought I would make something
you can give to those amazing teachers

And you know me.....

I turned the Tags into something different

I turned it into a pencil!

Just Cards - My Creative Time

Welcome to another "Just Cards" Thursday

at My Creative Time!

We all need cards right?

 I love sending them to the people , just because,
so when they come home they find
a little surprise in their mailbox! 

And today I am using Red, White and Blue Colors
They are both the colors for the American Flag as the Dutch one!

But I wanted to make a 4th Of July card for my
American Friends
and I used the Popcorn Die as a base....yes I did

This is what I made and I love it

It's Just Cards Thursday at My Creative Time

 Welcome to another "Just Cards" Thursday

at My Creative Time!

We all need cards right?

 I love sending them to the people I love, just because,
so when they come home they find
a little surprise in their mailbox!

But this time I thought of another cute idea!

Being so close to Thanksgiving
(which we don't celebrate in The Netherlands)
I love having dinners at home with friends and
I am always in charge for the table setting which I love!

And I love to make little menu's or just a nice card on the plate

So I made table cards for a Thanksgiving Dinner
and ofcourse I used the cute Turkey!

This is what I made:

Aren't they the best???

And they are so easy to put together,

you can run all the little pieces through

your die cutting machine in once!

I used a lot of scraps! And when you assemble
I put them on the base as a puzzle
as Emma has brilliantly instructed in her video

Tip 1 :

Use the frame of the Turkey to make a card,
by folding a piece of CS in half and put the frame over the fold,
not too much, to make the base for the card.

You can do this with nearly every die!

Tip 2:

If you cut the base out of black CS you won't see
a white line around the Turkey,
if this doesn't bother you then white CS is perfect too!
 I used white but next time will use black.
I colored the bit where the hat is stuck black
and then the inside of the card too, the hat part :)

So I got all my new cute dies out
and knew exactly what to make

I am a 3-D kinda girl and I love 

this little envelope she designed!

It is a blanc canvas and it fits a teabag
which is always nice to give and receive right?

So I got all my cute paper and created a Fall scene

which you could put on a card too...

Today is the best day because after this amazing week of Sneak Peeks, 
it is finally time for you to get your hands on this 
amazing release 
ánd to see our amazing DT during the Bloghop

So I got to play with the Fun Snowflake Die And I thought of Glitter Paper and being cold right away

This is what I made

First I cut out the Fun Snowflake Die twice out of Glitter paper Out of one of the two die cuts I cut out the center so I only had the side snowflake thingies (very technical term)

And I added them to the snowflake to give it more dimension

You should see it shine in real life!

And yes I made a cap and do you see how?

I used one part of the Stitched Favorbox die and ran this through an embossingfolder so it looks like I knitted it :)

I love to make nice gift which is Quick and Easy but has a WOW factor

So I was inspired by the Santa Pants I saw on Pinterest and I thought..
why not recreate this with Emma's dies and.......
turn it into a Leprachaun pants!

Tip:
After cutting out the die twice glue the strips that make the belt first on the flat die cut for a nice and clean finish
And if you combine the belt buckle, fourleave clover and scallop you can die cut them in one go

This is what I made and I totally love it! 
And believe me.......it was Made in Minutes

Supplies I used:

Tube Treat Box Die 
cut this twice and cut the top off (MCT-D265) and glued together
Mini Lollipop Holder + Add-Ons (revised) (MCT-D140)
I used the fourleave clover and scallop
Witch Hat Topper Die for the golden belt buckle
Gift Card Greetings used the For You Teacher but
only inked the "For You"part which just fitted

The braces of the pants are 8 inch x 0.5 inch and I curled them with my bonefolder before I attached them on the inside

If you put a pencil mark at 0.5 inch on all 4 ends you will get a mark so you can place the braces at the same depth.
I used glue dots to glue them because it is quick and easy.

Giftcards are so easy and fun to give and even more fun if you can create a custom made Giftcard Holder!

And Emma has so many cute Gift Card Holders which are Q&E
(=Quick & Easy :) )

The one I used is new and I love it and by using the cutest DSP
(=Design Series Paper) you can turn it into a purr-fect gift!

I made this for my dear BFF Diana, we will celebrate our Friendversary
between March  2nd and March 4th  (depends on the stamp of the Post Office).

We became Penpals in March 1982, so 39 years this year.
I got into this PenPal program to improve my English and I got Diana and it couldn't have been a better choice!

She really helped me improve my English and we became better and better friends through the years!

We grew up together and we celebrated our 50th birthdays in New York before the Pandemic, I am so grateful that we could! And we had an amazing time!

And we both adore cats and we are both Cat Mums so this was an easy one
to design and I just love how it has turned out!

Can't wait to sent it to her

How to make the card:

Use a piece of cardstock which is 18 cm by 5,5 cm

To convert from cm to inch click here

How to make the envelope:

Use a piece of cardstock which is 14 cm by 12,5 cm

Score at the long side at 2 cm and 8 cm

Score at the short side at 1 cm and 10,5 cm
