It's 3D Wednesday - My Creative Time

Welcome to another 3D Wednesday
at My Creative Time

I love to make something special when it is someone's birthday, after all, 

it is a special day right?

And I always try to stretch my dies, so I had a little experiment !
I had this thought in my mind and thought, let's try and it worked!

I cut out the Tube Treat Box Die twice and glued them together.

You have to fuss a little with the bottom but I just glued the pieces and stuck them on the same DSP and cut the access.

For me the Birthdayseason has begun, we have a lot of birthdays and
everybody wants money :(

And I never ever hand them a plain envelope.

 I always make something nice to hold the money!!!!

So this is what I made:

I used the Treat Pouch Die, one of my favorites!

All you need is some nice DSP and your done!

I added another die, the Happy Birthday one

What I do as soon as I get new dies like this from My Creative Time

I go to my scraps pile and die cut a bunch so I have them handy when I need one

I made a birthdaycard because you never have too many right?

I love this embossingfolder, it has birds on it and I love the effect!

So I made a "Happy bird-day" card and used a wooden embellishment in the shape of a birdie and made the sentiment by computer

The banner is from one of my favorite shops and it comes in a package of 2 meters!

Ik heb een verjaardagskaart gemaakt want daar kun je nooit teveel van hebben!

 

It's Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday/Dinsdag

Hi everyone, welcome to our favorite day of the week! Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday!

We have a fun challenge this week, a birthday Tic-Tac-Toe challenge, choose a row and create!

Come and join us because we have an amazing price!!!

I chose the middle horizontal row: Ribbon-Embossing-(Cup)Cake and created these cuties!!!

The cupcakes are made with a die from My Creative Time and the embossing folder is Brandless and is Dutch and says "Congratulations, Hooray etc etc" It is a very long card, 21 cm so I had to be creative with the folder, but where the tekst met again is covered by the middle cupcake!

And a little ribbon on top of them instead of a cherry!

I even used some Studio G Glitter Glue to make it sparkle!

Deze week hebben we een soort van bingo kaart waarmee je een keuze kunt maken om je kaart/project te gaan maken, je kunt horizontaal,verticaal of diagonaal! Ik heb de middelste horizontale rij genomen en heb deze lieve cupcakes gemaakt! Ze zijn altijd zó feestelijk! En met de strikjes worden ze helemaal schattig, om het nog feestelijker te maken heb ik glitterlijm gebuikt voor de accentjes. Ik vind hem weer zo poepig geworden.

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday/Dinsdag

It's a very special day in The Netherlands today! It's our last Queenday because our Queen Beatrix will retire and her eldest son Willem-Alexander will be our New King today!
Next year we will be celebrating Kingday on April 27th (it's a National Day off)

Our Queen Beatrix is on the left and our new King in the middle!

So in honor of our Queen, mother of 3, I made a birthdaycard in that style!

This week we have "One for Mom'' at Cuttlebug Mania, which could mean either a card for Mothers Day ór a birthdaycard. I combined...Our Queen is a Mom of three sons and we celebrate her last birthday/Queensday tomorrow (her actual birthday is on Jan 31st but she deceided to celebrate it on April 30th in honor of her Mom, former Queen Juliana)

I have used red CS as a base and run it through the Cuttlebug with the Cuttlebug Folder "Scroll Work" I then made a dress out of a doily and I used a mannequin for the body, I made this out of a piece of wallpaper, which I got at a DIY store for free! (samples)
I then put some ribbon around the waste, with the Dutch flag and some Orange ribbon under it.
The sentiment I printed on the computer and cut out with an Oval Nestabilitie.
To make it chique I put some shiny stones on the card as well!

Vandaag is natuurlijk een héle speciale dag! We nemen afscheid van Beatrix en groeten dan onze nieuwe Koning. Deze week hebben we als challenge "Voor Moederdag/Verjaardagskaart"
Ik heb hem gecombineerd voor haar, een kaart met een Koninklijke Uitstraling.
Ik heb een rode kaart gebruikt met de Cuttlebug Folder "Scroll Work" om mijn mooie jurkje in te lijsten, die ik gemaakt heb van een taartrondje, daarachter een mannequin gemaakt van behang (lang leve de Gamma/Karwei/Praxis). Vervolgens heb ik rood-wit-blauw lint én Oranje lint om de middel gedaan en de tekst heb ik uitgeprint op de computer. Deze heb ik met een Oval Nestabilitie uitgesneden in de Cuttlebug. En om het nog even chique te maken...strasssteentjes en een mooie strik!

Hi everyone, we are getting Sentimentel at Cuttlebug Mania, we have a great challenge this week!

Just a Sentiment and NO image!

I have a few birthdays coming up and one of them is from a teen, we have known him since birth and soon he will be celebrating his 14th birthday, so I deceided to make him a masculine card and have found some beautiful DSP of K&Company called "Sweet Nectar"

I have used the dies from My Creative Time to make the banner and the letters "Hoera" which spell "Hooray" and to make it more interesting I used beads! They spell "Hip Hip"I love it!!

Deze week hebben we een leuke challenge, we mogen alleen tekst gebruiken en geen plaatjes, je mag wel wat gebruiken als de focus maar ligt op de tekst!

Ik heb hele mooie papiertjes bijelkaar gezocht en heb het papier het werk laten doen.

Aangezien deze verjaardagskaart voor een jongen is, die bijna 14 wordt heb ik hem vrij mannelijk gehouden en ja die houden niet van tierlantijntjes!

Het enige speelse zijn de kraaltjes die het woordje "Hieperdepiep"spellen! Ik vind het goed gelukt!!

Happy birthday cupcake/Van harte gefelicitaart

Hi everyone, although sick I am never too sick to craft! So in my PJ's and with a box of Kleenex I made a birthdaycard for a colleque! She is a great colleque and she has asked me to make a birthdaycard for her friend, a long time ago and her birthday is coming up next week, so I got all my best bits together and created THE cutiest cupcake ever!

Using all the good dies from My Creative Time and Peachy Keen faces, who can live without them! They make everything come alive!!!

I found this amazing cupcake paper at my favorite store, the Action and I went from there! The cupcakeholder I gave some bling bling with Glitter Glue from Studio G.
The Pink letters are also from My Creative Time and spell "Hooray" in Dutch!

I am véry happy about it!!! She is smiling at me right now hihihi



Hoewel ik nog steeds ziek ben, ben ik nooit te ziek om te knutselen. Dus in mijn pyjama en een pak zakdoeken naast me, heb ik deze verjaardagskaart gemaakt voor een lieve collega, die me dit al een tijdje geleden heeft gevraagd. Haar vriendin's verjaardag is volgende week dus heb ik alle mooie dingen bijelkaar gezocht en heb ik de liefste en schattigste cupcake gemaakt, al zeg ik het zelf hihihi.
Ik heb heel veel dies van My Creative Time gebruikt en dan komt het altijd goed én natuurlijk een Peachy Keen gezichtje, hiermee komt alles tot leven!!
Ik heb geweldig cupcake papier als achtergrond gebruikt, gekocht bij de Action!! Eén van mijn lievelingswinkels. En de cupcake houder heb ik opgeblingt met Glitterlijm!

Ik ben er érg blij mee, ze is zo goed gelukt en ze lacht zo lief naar me nu hihihi!

Birthday/Verjaardag

Tomorrow it's the second birthday of a lovely cute twin. Their mom and I are colleques and she is so proud of them. So I had to make them a card ofcourse and I bought them both a little book about a little cow and a little lam.

I used the "Build a banner kit" from My Creative Time and I love it!!!

I made the blue one for Victor and the pink for Elize, aren't they cute?
I used the Spellbinders Nestabilties Classic Scalloped Squares Large to make the card, folded a piece of CS and then ran it through the Cuttlebug.

Morgen is een tweeling jarig, ze worden 2 en zijn de kinderen van een collega van mij, ze zijn zo lief dat ik natuurlijk een kaart voor ze heb gemaakt. Ik heb de Spellbinders Nestabilties Classic Scalloped Squares Large gebruikt als basis voor de kaart en de "Build a banner kit" van My Creative Time. Ik vind ze erg goed geslaagd!

Birthdaygift/Verjaardagscadeautje

It's Super Saturday! Although I didn't sleep to well, I was anxious to finish my present for tonight. It is a giftcard and I used the fabulous giftcard die from My Creative Time, it is amazing!

I bought a giftcard for a 19 year old and this shop sells lingerie and I love the colors they use on their bags and wrapping, soft pink and black!

So instead of using the instant card they gave me, I deceided to use Miss Emma's giftcard die and use the same colors!

I also used her flowerdie in the same colors, I used felt and it lookes gorgious!!! I then stamped a Peachy Keen stamp to bring the flower to live!
And her curly label to stamp a birtdayswish on!

Inside I have placed a white piece of CS to write a personal message on!
Not bad is it?

Vanavond heb ik een verjaardag en ik heb een giftcard gekocht van een lingeriewinkel. De kleuren van deze winkel, Hunkemöller, vind ik zo leuk, namelijk zachtrose met zwart. Dus i.p.v. de standaard kaart te gebruiken die je erbij krijgt in de winkel, heb ik de Giftcard die van My Creative Time gebruikt. Ook heb ik haar bloem gebruikt en deze heb ik gemaakt van vilt! En ik heb het een gezichtje gegeven van Peachy Keen stempels om het tot leven te brengen, is het niet super poepig en schattig! En haar Curly Label om een wensje op te stempelen (Dikke verjaardagszoenen) Binnen in heb ik een wit stukje karton geplakt om de felicitatie op te schrijven!

HSS Banner Bash Theme Challenge #81

Hi,

Because I really wanted to make something with a banner for such a long time, this challenge over at HSSBB came at the right time!


The challenge is:
Creating a project using any kind of banner – rectangle, triangle, circle, square, long, short any shape! Show us your banners!

So I found these adorable banners at Loelaloep. Although it is a Dutch blog, the instructions come in English as well!

So I followed the instructions, downloaded and made them small enough for my project.

I formed the word "Hoera" which means "Hooray" in Dutch. I then sewed them together by hand (time consuming but worth it). Found some DSP to match my banner and then I put these gorgious cupcakes in front! They were meant to be sewed on a pair of jeans which was needed reparing because someone fell :) but I just had to buy them and use them on this card!!! The are made of felt and a lot of stiches, simples gorgious!

I totally love this card!! And am so proud I finally made a banner! I instantly thought..oh these could be a great babycard....or someone's birthday card and spell their name!!! Really worth downloading, so go do it!!



Een nieuwe challenge, heerlijk. En eentje met vlaggetjes! Eindelijk!! Die heb ik al zolang willen maken en met deze challenge was de timing dus perfect! Ik heb hele leuke vlaggetjes kunnen downloaden bij Loelaloep, na wat instructies had ik ze en daarna heb ik ze verkleint tot het formaat wat ik wilde. Vervolgens heb ik met borduurgaren ze aan elkaar genaaid. Vervolgens vond ik bij mijn favoriet, de Action, deze geweldige strijkemblemen!! Ik dacht meteen aan een kaart en niet aan een kapotte broek! Ze maken de kaart helemaal af, ze zijn zo mooi gemaakt!!

Ben erg blij dat ik het nu eindelijk heb kunnen proberen en hoewel tijdrovend, je moet de lettertjes toch allemaal bijelkaar voegen en borduren, is het het waard geweest en dacht ik meteen aan babykaartjes en felicitatiekaartjes met iemand zijn naam op de vlaggetjes! Kortom ik ben er heel blij mee, dus als ik jullie was zou ik ze ook downloaden!

A birthday card / Een verjaardagskaart

My fan had ordered yet another card, I love this! More and more people are asking me to make special cards, I am so happy.

This time it was a request for a birthdaycard. So I sat down and went through all my beautiful things and found bits and bops. I used DSP, fun letters, a clip (which can be re-used)a piece of post-it paper which I turned into a piece of notepaper which lookes like it was ripped out of a book, cool! And I created this flower, which I love!!!!! All in my favorite colors! Very happy with the result!

Wederom een bestelling van mijn fan, ik vind dit geweldig. Steeds meer mensen vragen speciale kaartjes te maken, maakt me heel gelukkig.

Deze keer is een verjaardagskaart, dus ik ging zitten, ging door al mijn mooie spulletjes en vond ditjes en datjes. Ik heb design papier gebruikt, letters van het Kruidvats, een papiertje van een groot blok post-it blaadjes van de HEMA die ik heb omgetoverd tot een notitieblaadje dat lijkt uit een blokje te zijn gescheurd! Een clip van de Action (die je kunt hergebruiken) en de bloem heb ik ook gemaakt. Ik ben heel trots op het resultaat, ook omdat het mijn favoriete kleuren zijn!

Happy 40th!

Een lieve vriendin/ex-collega werd 40 en we werden uitgenodigd op haar surpriseparty! Ze wilde graag een bead voor haar armband en daar ben ik naar op zoek gegaan, ik vond een hele mooie zilveren met een bedeltje in de vorm van een hartje. Toen heb ik vervolgens een digitale stempel gemaakt met allemaal woordjes en zinnetjes die het woord "hart" bevatten. Ik heb nog extra hartjes er tussen geplakt om het nog extra te benadrukken!
Dit alles heb ik feestelijk ingepakt met een rieten hart erbij.

A dear friend/former colleque became 40 and we were invited to her surprise party. She wanted a bead for her bracelet and I found a very beautiful silver one with a heart on it. I then made a digital stamp with the word "heart" and it has words and phrases with this word in it. I put little hearts between the words to give it somethings extra.
This was nicely wrapped with a rotan heart.

A Happy birthday card / Een verjaardagskaart

Hi everyone, last night I made another card somebody had asked to make! I love these "orders". I think it is great to buy a custom-made card! There is not another one in the world!!

The only clue's I got was the birthdaygirl with be 50 (a very special age in the Netherlands!!) and she is a policeofficer!
We have a saying in Holland, when you find someone interesting, you find them "boeiend" and "boei" also means handcuffs!

So I had the base! Then I just had to put it together! I got this lovely stripped DSP and put some grey/pink dotted border on one side, which I punched.
Then I got some string and made some birthdayflags, they are supercute. On top of them I put a little heart!

Then I got some thick CS and put some wallpaper on top (TIP: you can get free samples at the local DIY store, in all sorts of colors/designs!!) and then I made the 50 with my Cuttlebug! I put them on some dimensionals. Then I put the end of a keychain behind the thick CS and now it both can functions as an "O" as well as a handcuff!!! Then I put down the word "Boeiend" in chocolatebrown letters, which are my favorite!!!

I just love it!!!! And so does the woman who ordered it!

Ik heb weer een opdracht gekregen voor een persoonlijke kaart, vind dat zo leuk! Want degene die hem krijgt krijgt een unieke en op maat gemaakte kaart!
De enige steekwoorden die ik over de Jarige Jet kreeg waren Politie-agente en 50!
Het eerste wat bij mij naar boven kwam was "Boeiend"

Met dat in gedachte, ben ik de kaart gaan opbouwen. Het gestreepte papier komt uit een blokje van de Action. Daar overheen heb ik een rand met grijs/roze stipjes geplakt, die ik geponst heb, ook dit papier kwam uit hetzelfde blokje. Vervolgens heb ik wat touw in de hoek geplakt met daaraan wat verjaardagsvlaggetjes! Ook uit hetzelfde blokje. Daarop heb ik hartjes geplakt. Vervolgens heb ik een prijskaartje versierd met behang, dit is een sample van de Praxis, op de behangafdeling staan allemaal kleine stukjes behang, als voorbeeld en daar heb ik een stapeltje van meegenomen, in diverse kleurtjes en designs! Helemaal goed als je kaarten gaat maken!
Vervolgens heb ik met de Cuttlebug de 50 gesneden. Van een sleutelhanger heb ik de handboei gemaakt en die vormt meteen een "O" het woord boeiend heb ik gemaakt met mijn favoriete bruine plakletters! Er ging heel veel tijd in zitten maar wat ben ik er weer trots op!

Mijn nichtje wordt volgende maand alweer 4! En mijn zusje vroeg of ik vlaggetjes wilde maken voor op haar traktatie! Het zijn bloemetjes geworden, die vind ik namelijk véél leuker....en gelukkig mijn zus ook!!

Een verjaardagscadeau voor mijn zus! Een tasje met haar initialen en daarin 6 kleine kaartjes voor diverse gelegenheden! Met zelfgemaakte envelopjes! Helemaal leuk om te maken én te geven en volgens mij zéker om te krijgen! Ze is vrijdag jarig, je zult je afvragen, waarom op internet, mijn zusje is zo niet in computers, dus ze zal niet zo 1-2-3 gaan kijken!
