Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday

This is very exciting!! Today is the first Tuesday for our New Blog "Cuttlebug Mania"

The Cuttlebug Spot is closed and Kerry and I have created a new blog where we can continue our love for our Cuttlebuggie and Deneen has joined us in this fun!!
We hope we can be as inspiring as we were!

This week it is all about Butterflies!
Kerry's mum loves them so that's why she has asked us to make a project with butterflies!!

Because it is our first week, we hope you will join us in the fun! we have an amazing prize and we hope you will become our follower so you won't miss all the fun, the challenges and the prizes!!

This is what I made!

I picked my favorite CS, fuchcia pink and I bought these cute felt butterflies at a pharmacist (Kruidvat) and I loved them instantly! It is supposed to be for Easter! I then took some Perkament Vellum and I ran this through the Bug with a die from My Creative Time, it leaves an impression, I thought that was different! I then made some grass with a die that can be either ice or grass, it's just the way you put them on a card LOL.

I punched out some pink flowers with a babypunch and put some gemstones in the heart of the flowers.  I then made a banner with another die by My Creative Time and I Bugged the alphabet also from My Creative Time (she is the best designer)

I used my white gel pen to make a dotted line around the vellum!

I love it!!!

Deze week is extra spannend, Kerry en ik zijn een nieuwe blog begonnen, Cuttlebug Mania en we zijn blij dat Deneen ook mee doet! Aangezien The Cuttlebug Spot gesloten is hebben wij besloten onze liefde voor de Cuttlebug door te zetten, ook op dinsdag, maar dan op onze eigen blog.

We hopen dat jullie allemaal in grote getalen gaan mee doen!

Deze week hebben we dus ook vlinders in onze buik en die gaan we gebruiken als inspiratie op je kaart of wat je ook wilt maken!

De vlindertjes vond ik tussen de paasspullen bij Het Kruidvat (hebben ze tegenwoordig zulke leuke knutselspullen) en de bloementjes heb ik geponst en een strasssteentje als hartje erin geplakt. Ik heb een slinger gemaakt met een die van My Creative Time en ik heb gras gesneden met de bug met een malletje wat je zowel voor ijspegels als voor gras kunt gebruiken, het is alleen even andersom plaatsen en in een ander kleurtje papier! Ik vind hem echt zo leuk gelukt!!!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all ok? And enjoying the (almost) Winter? We had snow on Friday!! And it left on Saturday! Still it was nice to see.....now it is raining......still more time to be indoors and craft!!

This week we have yet another great Challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot!!
"Create a banner"

Now who doesn't like banners???? They are so festive and usuable for every occasion! So because I am way behind my Christmascards making I deceided to make a Christmassie one with one of my favorites...the Gingerbreadman!!!
I love the character although we are not familiour with him in the Netherlands!
I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen stamp (ofcours) and doddled him with a white gelpen! Isn't he adorable?? I put on a bow and some buttons and tada!

I created the banner out of.......Xmas trees!!! I had some DSP which I usually use as party hats...but they make great banners as well!! LOL
I also used red/white twine to hang the banner on!

The background is Cuttlebugged and the folder reminded me a little of a gingerbreadman...the shape looks like it..I think.

I love the card!!!!



Hopelijk gaat alles goed met jullie en zijn jullie niet ingesneeuwd! Het is wel écht knutselweer en we hebben weer zo'n leuke challenge bij The Cuttlebug Spot!
Maak een slinger! Nou wie houdt daar nou niet van??
Ik loop zo achter met mijn Kerstkaarten maken, dat ik dacht...ik maak een kerstkaart, met één van mijn favorietjes...het gingermannetje! Met een paar knopjes en een strikje en geteken met de witte gelpen...issie toch prachtig geworden!!

De vlaggetjes heb ik gemaakt van omgekeerde kerstboompjes! Dit vel heb ik al bijna helemaal opgeknipt, vaak gebruik ik het als feestmutsjes maar ze werken ook prima als vlaggetjes!

Met rode twine heb ik de draad gemaakt waar ze aan hangen!

De achtergrond deed me denken aan de vorm van het gingermannetje, daarom heb ik hem geCuttlebugged!

Doen jullie ook mee, laten we de boel versieren!!!

HSS Banner Bash Theme Challenge #81

Hi,

Because I really wanted to make something with a banner for such a long time, this challenge over at HSSBB came at the right time!


The challenge is:
Creating a project using any kind of banner – rectangle, triangle, circle, square, long, short any shape! Show us your banners!

So I found these adorable banners at Loelaloep. Although it is a Dutch blog, the instructions come in English as well!

So I followed the instructions, downloaded and made them small enough for my project.

I formed the word "Hoera" which means "Hooray" in Dutch. I then sewed them together by hand (time consuming but worth it). Found some DSP to match my banner and then I put these gorgious cupcakes in front! They were meant to be sewed on a pair of jeans which was needed reparing because someone fell :) but I just had to buy them and use them on this card!!! The are made of felt and a lot of stiches, simples gorgious!

I totally love this card!! And am so proud I finally made a banner! I instantly thought..oh these could be a great babycard....or someone's birthday card and spell their name!!! Really worth downloading, so go do it!!



Een nieuwe challenge, heerlijk. En eentje met vlaggetjes! Eindelijk!! Die heb ik al zolang willen maken en met deze challenge was de timing dus perfect! Ik heb hele leuke vlaggetjes kunnen downloaden bij Loelaloep, na wat instructies had ik ze en daarna heb ik ze verkleint tot het formaat wat ik wilde. Vervolgens heb ik met borduurgaren ze aan elkaar genaaid. Vervolgens vond ik bij mijn favoriet, de Action, deze geweldige strijkemblemen!! Ik dacht meteen aan een kaart en niet aan een kapotte broek! Ze maken de kaart helemaal af, ze zijn zo mooi gemaakt!!

Ben erg blij dat ik het nu eindelijk heb kunnen proberen en hoewel tijdrovend, je moet de lettertjes toch allemaal bijelkaar voegen en borduren, is het het waard geweest en dacht ik meteen aan babykaartjes en felicitatiekaartjes met iemand zijn naam op de vlaggetjes! Kortom ik ben er heel blij mee, dus als ik jullie was zou ik ze ook downloaden!
