It's Cuttlebug Tuesday

Hi everyone!

It is Tuesday again, which means another Cuttlebugspot Tuesday!! Yeah!
It will be the last one for this year! But we will put some ideas during the Holidays on the blog to continue the great ideas of our amazing DT! And it will give you some idea's as well if you have time to craft!!

This weeks challenge is : "Tag - Create a Christmas Tag" and is just for fun and sharing. Enjoy your Holidays and we will see you in the New Cuttlebug Year.

This is what I made!!!

I made a standard card and put DSP on top, lovely Christmastrees, to make it more Xmas! I then made a tag with some other DSP with big green dots and put a ribbon through it. I then Cuttlebugged 2 Xmastrees and ofcourse I had to use my Peachy Keen faces again, I so much love these and they instantly change your card!!

I then took some beads (remember them from the old days LOL) to create the words "Have a wonderful Christmas"only in Dutch!

I love my card!!

Hallo allemaal, de laatste Cuttlebug Dinsdag challenge van dit jaar, maar we zijn nog wel te zien tussendoor met wat leuke ideeén! We hebben deze week ook weer een superleuke challenge, namelijk die met een Kerst"Tag" een label, wie kent ze niet en wat zijn ze divers te gebruiken! Wat ik heb gedaan, ik heb een standaard kaart gemaakt, met leuk kerstpapier op de achtergrond en de label heb ik versierd met grote groene stippen om het meer Kerst te laten lijken. Vervolgens heb ik met de Cuttlebug 2 kerstboompjes gesneden en die natuurlijk de Peachy Keen gezichtjes gegeven, daarmee komt alles tot leven! En met de ouderwetse alfabet kraaltjes heb ik "Fijne Kerst" gespeld! Ik vind het superleuk gelukt!
Deze ronde is alleen voor het plezier van meedoen en volgend jaar komen we weer met leuke challenges! Vergeet niet naar ons DT te gaan!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!!

Hi everyone!!

I am in my favorite season of the year! It's Sinterklaas! That is our Dutch Xmas.
I have told about him in another blog.



This week we have another great challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot!

"Feathers - add feathers, real, paper etc "

So go to our blog to see what our amazing DT has made and join us!!

This one was easy for me! Because it is the season of Sinterklaas and his Black Peters, I thought of the last one instantely!

As you can see, they wear Feathers!


And every Black Peter has his own colors!! Sinterklaas has,like Father Xmas, a lot of helpers!!

So I grab my Cuttlebug and used the "Hello Kitty" die from Sizzix and cut her out in Black CS! I then Cuttlebugged her outfit in pink and embossed that with the little dots folder. I then cut out two Spellbinders Nestabilities Mega Ovals to make her hat!
I then chose 2 feathers of my favorite colors, pink and orange.
I also got lace stickytape!



I then put everything together! I used the big dots as a background which also made me think of the "Pepernoten", the candy they throw around kids (yummie)






I just fell in love with this "Hello Pietje" she is gorgious!

Hoi allemaal, mijn favoriete tijd van het jaar is weer volop bezig, namelijk Sinterklaas! Heerlijk, kan er enorm van genieten.
Dus toen deze challenge voorbij kwam, hoefde ik niet lang na te denken!

"Maak iets met veren, echte, papier" Ik dacht meteen ik maak een Zwarte Piet!
In de vorm van Hello Kitty....die werd nu Hello Pietje!
Ik heb kantplakband gebruikt als haar kraag en de veertjes heb ik gekocht bij de HEMA!

Is ze niet poepig?

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!

Hi everyone!

It's Tuesday, which means...Cuttlebug Spot day!
This week is all about Sweethearts...Valentine....romance!And use a stamp and hearts in your project!

My BFF told me she saw these amazing hearts at a store and I bought them instantly! They are really soft and pink! I also bought red and white ones, my other favorite!

It has been winter here since last Friday, it has been snowing a lot and it is really cold, brrrrrr! So I thought...cold....hot chocolate...ok!

I made a sleeve! I love making them, I have made one before on this blog!

I made this one for my Valentine, my husband, he loves Hot Chocolate! I used a dark pink CS and put DSP on top, I folded the CS around the Hot Chocolate and then made scoringmarks. Don't close the sleeve to tight because the Hot Chocolate has to move.
Then I used this adorable snowman from my sponsor Digiscrapkits because I thought he really was made for this sleeve!
Then I used Versamark to stamp these amazing stamps from My Creative Time "You had me at Chocolate". I then embossed both stamps with white embossingpowder.
I then punched 2 holes through the sleeve and put fuchsiaribbon around the Hot Chocolate and then put the ribbon through the holes and tied a bow. When you pull the bow...the Chocolate comes out! Very clever, you can do this with almost anything, soup, giftcards, chocolatebar....

Deze week zijn we romantisch bij de Cuttlebug Spot en maken we dus iets met hartjes en stempels! Ik heb me laten inspireren door het weer, koud & sneeuw...hete chocolademelk! Deze heb ik in een houder gedaan, die je door middel van een lint omhoog trekt en het dus als een cadeautje tevoorschijn komt! Ik heb dit eerder gemaakt, het is erg makkelijk en je kunt het voor bijna alles gebruiken! Meet wat je erin wil doen en maak daar je papier omheen! Eerst voorzichtig vouwen, dan vouwlijnen maken en niet al te strak dichtplakken, het moet binnen nog wel kunnen schuiven. De roze zachte hartje heb ik na een tip van mijn lieve vriendin, bij De Zeeman gekocht! Ik heb een onwijs lief roze sneeuwpopje gebruikt van mijn sponsor Digiscrapkits. En stempels van mijn favoriet "My Creative Time" en het is de stempelset "You had me at Chocolate". Ik heb deze met witte poeder geembossed en ik vind hem super poepig geworden. Hopelijk kan ik het nog geheim houden voor mijn man voor Valentijn!

It's the last Cuttlebug Tuesday of 2011

Hi, it's Tuesday again, which means...time to be Cuttlebugged!

We have another wonderful challenge at the Cuttlebugspot! Shall I give you a hint?? It's about someone who likes to wear red...never shaves...has black boots....and a lot of dear deers!

Yes...it's all about Santa! Santa Claus is coming to the Cuttlebug and we hope you will join us in this festive challenge.
I found these amazing adorable Santa chocolates and had to use them in this challenge! I made a topper for it and used Xmas red CS, then put some white CS, which I Cuttlebugged with the snowflake folder, on top!
I then stamped both Santa and Rudolp on CS and used the white embossingpowder to give it a different twist! Behind them I used Twinery..which looks like Candy Cane!
And I made Rudolphs'nose sparkling red! I think this is super cute!!

Deze week hebben we weer een hele leuke challenge bij The Cuttlebug Spot, zal ik een hint geven? Hij draagt graag rood, scheert zich nooit en draagt zwarte laarzen. En hij heeft een heleboel rendieren!
Jaja, het is Kerstmantijd! De Kerstman bezoekt the Cuttlebug en wij hopen dat jullie meedoen in deze feestelijke challenge.

Ik vond deze poeperige chocolaatjes bij Albert Heijn en wist meteen dat ik deze voor deze challenge wilde gebruiken. Ik heb een nieuwe bovenkant gemaakt van kerstrood papier, daarboven op wit papier, welke ik geembossed heb met sneeuwvlokken. De Kerstman en Rudolph heb ik gestempeld en geembossed met witte poeder om het een andere draai te geven. Onder ze heb ik rood/witte draad gebruikt, om het gevoel van Candy Cane (de rood/witte stokjes) mee te geven en als finishing touch heb ik de neus van Rudolph met rode glitters ingekleurd! Ik vind het zóóóó leuk gelukt!'

It's Cuttlebug Friday!

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and have recovered from all that gorgious food!

We have another amazing Challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot this week! Make something out of your leftovers (not the Turkey ofcourse LOL) but anything you have laying around in your craftingarea, scraps!!

I have tons! And use them all the time, so I was very happy with this challenge.

Being Dutch we are still in the middle of our biggest Holiday, Sinterklaas! He has been here for nearly 3 weeks and will be leaving Mondaynight! Because on Monday December the 5th we celebrate his birthday and he brings us gifts with his Black Peter and we love it!

But because my sister and her kids are living in the North of the Netherlands we deceided to ask Sinterklaas if it would be okay if we celebrate this Sunday December 4th and he is fine with that! He also is going to pay us a visit, which is quiet an honor because we know how busy he is!! Very excited about this special guest!!

So we are having a Sinterklaasbrunch with the 12 of us (including our best friends and their 3 sons) and hopefully lots and lots of presents!

In the spirit of Sinterklaas I made a Sinterklaascard! I found these amazing Black Peter stamps and used them ofcourse. I made presents out of scraps and little bows from leftover twinery! I then stamped Black Peter on white CS and stamped his pants on scraps of DSP and his hat as well and I colored in the rest of him. I made a brick wall, to make it look like Sinterklaas his big garage where he keeps all his presents which he took from Spain! The brick wall folder is a present I got for my birthday and I love it and use it a lot! The saying is "December 5th greetings"

Welkom bij de Cuttlebugspot waar we deze week weer een geweldige Challenge hebben, namelijk doe iets leuks met je restjes die je hebt liggen in je hobbyruimte! Nou ik heb er genoeg en was daarom ook blij met deze leuke uitdaging! Omdat we nog volop in de Sinterklaassfeer zitten, héérlijk, moest ik natuurlijk wel iets Sinterklazigers maken! En bij Pipoos heb ik deze ontzettende leuke Zwarte Pieten stempels gekocht (beperkte oplage) en toen heb ik pakjes gemaakt uit restjes met daarop een strik van twinery restjes. Vervolgens heb ik Pietje gestempeld en zijn broekje van andere papier, net als zijn muts, de rest heb ik ingekleurd. Vervolgens heb ik een stenen muur gemaakt om het een soort magazijn te doen lijken, heb het met inkt wat ouder gemaakt. Ik vind hem super goed gelukt.!

Ik hoop dat jullie ook geïnspireerd zijn om jullie restjes te gaan gebruiken en nodig jullie uit mee te doen met deze leuke Challenge! En vergeet niet bij de rest van ons geweldige Designteam te kijken! Succes!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday! Het is Dinsdag...Cuttlebug Dag!

Hi everyone!

We hope you will join us this week in our new Challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot!

This weeks'challenge is : Gobble Gobble Gobble.... do something fun with a Turkey....... being so close to Thanksgiving is a great one!

Here is what I made:

For this challenge I have done something I wanted to make for a long time, but never had the time or inspiration! Don't forget to check the rest of our Designteam!

It is done before, I just made it mine!

I made a tag to put on a bottle of wine, which is always a nice gift to gift to your host, when you are invited!
It also looks nice on your dinnertable as well.

I used this adorable Turkey from my Sponsor, DigiScrapKits. I cut off his feathers (so sorry)and made new ones with my leafpunch and used different papers for it! I then made a pumpkin with Cottage Cutz "The Pumpkin Trio" and ran that through the Cuttlebug with felt, isn't it adorable?? I then made a bow out of Orange Twinery.
The base for the label is simple, just measure the bottleneck and work from there. I used a 19,5 cm by 5 cm piece of DSP. For the top, where the hole will be I used 6 cm and then scored. I made a hole with a punch.
The Turkey I glued to a XL Label which I made with the XL Label Die from My Creative Time.
I put a piece of green Cuttlebugged paper around the bottle as well.

Hoi allemaal, het is weer dinsdag! Dus Cuttlebug dinsdag en we hebben zo'n leuke challenge voor jullie vandaag!

Gobble Gobble...doe iets leuks met een Kalkoen, het is eind deze maand Thanksgiving en ja dat wordt in Amerika groots gevierd met het eten van een kalkoen! Niet leuk natuurlijk voor al die kalkoenen, maar ze zijn wel superleuk om mee te knutselen! Ik heb een flessenlabel gemaakt, niet origineel, maar iets wat ik al heel lang wilde maken maar nooit de inspiratie of tijd voor had! Nu was mijn kans.

Ik heb een superleuke kalkoen gebruikt van mijn sponsor
die ik heb aangepast, heb de veren eraf geknipt en ze zelf gemaakt met mijn blaadjes pons. Vervolgens heb ik een pompoen gemaakt met een Die van vilt en een strik gemaakt van Twinery! Vervolgens heb ik een label gemaakt van My Creative Time.

Het stuk DSP wat ik heb gebruikt is 19,5 cm bij 5 cm. De lengte van de hals heb ik gehouden op 6 cm en toen heb ik een vouwlijn gemaakt, dan valt ie mooi op de fles.
De fles zelf heb ik ook nog versierd met groen papier.

The Cuttlebug Spot is back...... woo hoo!!!!...

You have all been missed. We are so happy to welcome you back to our challenge blog. We took a short break, but could not stay gone for ever. We hope that you come back and join our challenges and visit the Design Team blogs.

We have some changes to our blog format as follows:
Our challenges will now be posted every 2 weeks. We all have very busy lives, so this will allow you time to create without feeling rushed to meet a deadline. We will continue to offer prizes and draw winners using Random.Org.

The other big change is that embossing will not be required on all your submissions. Although it's our favorite technique here, your creativity with the challenge is most important.

Here is my entry for this challenge!

What I did was I got a pink circle shaped card and took a "pieholder" which looks like lace but is actually paper, we use it under our pies.
Then I cut out a birdie and made the wing out of pink felt to give it some texture.
The branch is also from felt.
I then used a Die from My Creative Time and put letterstickers on them to form the words "You r so" I am very font (LOL) of letters and made tweet with bigger letters.
I also used a clip for the effect.

We hebben even een rustpauze ingelast maar konden natuurlijk niet lang wegblijven. We hopen dat jullie weer mee gaan doen aan onze Challenges!
We hebben een paar aanpassingen, we hebben in plaats van wekelijks nu 1x in de 2 weken een challenge en embossing is niet meer verplicht! Jullie creativiteit is het allerbelangrijkste! We lezen graag wat jullie hier van vinden en we hopen dat jullie je vrienden ook uitnodigen om mee te doen aan de Challenges.
Het is heerlijk om weer met embossing, stempels en dies/snijmallen aan de slag te gaan! We hebben er super veel zin in.

Deze week is het thema "Alles mag" en dat betekent dat je een nieuwe creatie mag insturen om kans te maken op een mooie prijs! Dit is onze manier om jullie welkom terug te heten bij the Cuttlebug Spot!

Hieronder mijn creatie voor deze challenge. Ik heb een roze cirkelkleurige kaart gekozen als basis en daarom een taartrandje geplakt. Dit lijkt net kant vind ik. Vervolgens heb ik een vogeltjes uitgeknipt en heb ik haar vleugeltje van roze vilt gemaakt. Het takje is ook van vilt.
Ik heb vervolgens een Die gebruikt van My Creative Time waar ik letters op heb geplakt en een klemmetje op geklemd heb. En ik heb het woordje tweet erop geplakt. Ze is super leuk geworden!

I search through my buttonbox and found a few pink ones! And the first thing that went through my mind was PIGGY's!!!! So this is what I did!
I got a piggy from my favorite sponsor at DigiScrapKits

Because she sells digital art it is possible to alter them, so I removed the snout and replaced it with....a button!!! I think they are super cute!!!
I then made a fence with the Cuttlebugfolder Woodgrain! I just love the saying "Hogs and Kisses" so I had to add that!

Vandaag een nieuwe challenge bij The Cuttlebug Spot, waar we deze week ons uit kunnen leven met knoopjes! Heerlijk toch? Wie heeft ze niet liggen in een doos(je). Dus ik ging spitten door de vele knoopjes en vond deze roze en moest gelijk denken aan een snoet van een varken! Dus daar ben ik mee aan de slag gegaan! Ik heb een varkentje bij mijn sponsor gevonden, die ik bewerkt heb, het zijn namelijk digitale bestanden. Het snuitje heb ik vervangen door juist....een knoop! Zijn ze niet poepig? Daarna heb ik een hek gemaakt met de Cuttlebugfolder Woodgrain en de uitdrukking "Hogs and kisses" kon ik niet weglaten, maar dit zou je natuurlijk ook kunnen verNederlandsen door bijvoorbeeld "Een big knuffel" of voor een Knorpotje. Genoeg leuks te verzinnen!

Cuttlebug Tuesday

So this week I thought of trying something different!

I had bought this amazing flower which also has a clip attached at the back, so you can wear in your hair, on your clothes, on your handbag, so it's a gift as well! I really wanted to use it on a card, so this is what I did.


I used the "Leafy Branch" which I love to create the background for the flower, so it wouldn't just hang in the air! Then I cut a little strip of CS to attach the flower to. Then I cut little strips which match the colors of the card and glued them on to give a special effect. I finished it off with a My Pink Stamper stamp!

The twine I have used for the inside because I feel the insides of a card are often forgotten and with the pop up card in mind I thought, I will do something sweet for the inside!!


Deze week weer een leuke challenge, "All tied up" gebruik draad of touw op één of andere manier in je ontwerp. Ik had deze bloem bij de Blokker gezien en was er meteen verliefd op, hou erg van rood en wit en het leuke is dat er een clip aan de achterkant bevestigd is waardoor je hem dus in je haar kunt dragen, op een jasje of op je tasje, dus het is meteen ook een cadeautje!
Dus ik heb deze vrolijke kaart gemaakt, oblong, gebruik maken van de " Leafy Branch" folder om het effect van blaadjes te creeëren en vervolgens heb ik een klein houdertje gemaakt van een strookje CS om de bloem op te clippen. Vervolgens heb ik kleine bijpassende strookjes DSP gesneden en die om en om geplakt om een apart effect te creeëren. Toen heb ik een stempel van My Pink Stampers gebruikt om het af te maken. Daarna heb ik de binnenkant onderhanden genomen, die vaak vergeten wordt. En daar heb ik de draad gebruikt, als een mooie strik, ik vind het een grappig effect juist omdat dit draad ook weer rood/wit is (tis rollade draad van Dille & Kamille!)

Ik ben heel benieuwd naar jullie creaties, succes!

For my idea I went to see my BFF Mery, when we get together it is one happy day but we think alike and are both very creative! We also have our own blog "Jame Sieraden", we love making jewelry and do well, we have homeparty's and bring our own made Jewelry and then the women can shop in their own home, with girlfriends, colleques and get something exclusive because we always make one of a kind jewelry!

Anyways I was thinking about using the charms and I really wanted something special and then Mery had this brill idea! So this is what we came up with.

I found this gorgious silhouette and cut this out and altered it a bit. Then I ran a piece of white CS through my Cuttlebug with a brandless (so sorry) folder which I love!!! Then I made these charms using chain stich, it is not very difficult, just need some practice and good tools. I made it into a necklace and I put a bow in her hair, I just LOVE IT, thank you Mery for thinking with me!!!

Vandaag maken we iets met hangertjes/bedeltjes! En ik wilde echt iets origineels maken maar kon niet echt op iets komen, ik heb het op dit moment namelijk vrij druk met mijn werk. Dus ik ben naar mijn beste vriendin Mery gegaan, als wij samen zijn hebben we niet alleen veel lol maar verzinnen we ook ontzettend leuke dingen. Zo hebben we samen ook een site "Jame Sieraden" en geven we ook party's bij iemand thuis, we komen met al onze zelfgemaakte sieraden en in het gemak van je eigen huis kun je lekker shoppen met vriendinnen. En van alles is maar één, dus je hebt een heel unieke sieraad!

Dus Mery heeft meegedacht aan dit ontwerp en dit is het geworden. Door de samenstelling van de kleuren, heeft het weinig anders nodig. De achtergrond is mooi ge-Cuttlebugged en ik vind hem echt super!!!!!!!!!
