Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday

This is very exciting!! Today is the first Tuesday for our New Blog "Cuttlebug Mania"

The Cuttlebug Spot is closed and Kerry and I have created a new blog where we can continue our love for our Cuttlebuggie and Deneen has joined us in this fun!!
We hope we can be as inspiring as we were!

This week it is all about Butterflies!
Kerry's mum loves them so that's why she has asked us to make a project with butterflies!!

Because it is our first week, we hope you will join us in the fun! we have an amazing prize and we hope you will become our follower so you won't miss all the fun, the challenges and the prizes!!

This is what I made!

I picked my favorite CS, fuchcia pink and I bought these cute felt butterflies at a pharmacist (Kruidvat) and I loved them instantly! It is supposed to be for Easter! I then took some Perkament Vellum and I ran this through the Bug with a die from My Creative Time, it leaves an impression, I thought that was different! I then made some grass with a die that can be either ice or grass, it's just the way you put them on a card LOL.

I punched out some pink flowers with a babypunch and put some gemstones in the heart of the flowers.  I then made a banner with another die by My Creative Time and I Bugged the alphabet also from My Creative Time (she is the best designer)

I used my white gel pen to make a dotted line around the vellum!

I love it!!!

Deze week is extra spannend, Kerry en ik zijn een nieuwe blog begonnen, Cuttlebug Mania en we zijn blij dat Deneen ook mee doet! Aangezien The Cuttlebug Spot gesloten is hebben wij besloten onze liefde voor de Cuttlebug door te zetten, ook op dinsdag, maar dan op onze eigen blog.

We hopen dat jullie allemaal in grote getalen gaan mee doen!

Deze week hebben we dus ook vlinders in onze buik en die gaan we gebruiken als inspiratie op je kaart of wat je ook wilt maken!

De vlindertjes vond ik tussen de paasspullen bij Het Kruidvat (hebben ze tegenwoordig zulke leuke knutselspullen) en de bloementjes heb ik geponst en een strasssteentje als hartje erin geplakt. Ik heb een slinger gemaakt met een die van My Creative Time en ik heb gras gesneden met de bug met een malletje wat je zowel voor ijspegels als voor gras kunt gebruiken, het is alleen even andersom plaatsen en in een ander kleurtje papier! Ik vind hem echt zo leuk gelukt!!!

Throwback Thursday "Cricutless Challenge"!

I am enjoying my free Saturday, have done my Housekeeping, only need to do the vacuum, but because it is so nice outside, I will leave that to later!

Miss Emma, at My Creative Time, has another challenge!
Here are the details for this challenge: *** This is a "CRICUTLESS" Challenge! Meaning, you are not allowed to use your cricuts, imagines, e2's or your gypsy. Basically, we are taking it back "Old School"! You are totally allowed to use punches &/or your cuttlebug! (YEAH!)

*** Create a CARD using the colors PURPLE, ORANGE, GREEN & BLACK!

So here what I did with my Cuttlebug, I cut out a sweet Pumpkin because of the Orange, used Cottage Cutz which includes Peachy Keen faces! Then I cut out a witchhat from Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Witches Brew". I then ran a piece of purple CS through the Cuttlebug with the Woodfolder. And I created a saying on the computer using the "Bloody" font. I totally love it!

Miss Emma, van My Creative Time, heeft weer een leuke challenge. Je mag geen Cricut gebruiken (gelukkig maar want die heb ik (nog) niet hihi) maar wel ponsen en de Cuttlebug (YEAH!).
Je mag een kaart maken die de kleuren paars, oranje, groen en zwart bevat!Ik ben meteen aan de slag gegaan en heb vanwege het oranje element een Pompoen uitgesneden met de Cuttlebug, het is eentje van Cottage Cutz inclusief Pompoen gezichtjes van Peachy Keen! Daarnaast heb ik ook een Heksenhoed uitgesneden met mijn Cuttlebug van de Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Witches Brew"
Ik heb vervolgens een stuk paars papier geembossed met de Cuttlebug, met een houtnerf. En op de computer heb ik een leuke kreet verzonnen in lettertype Bloody.
Ik vind hem echt ontzettend leuk! Hou van een challenge, moet je toch even je creativiteit induiken, maar het is weer gelukt!

Peachy Keen Challenge # 58

Having had a wonderful holiday in Italy I am ready for a challenge again! And I found this one at Peachy Keen Stamps Blog

This is the base:


And this is what I did!

I just had to use the color red! I love the color, so bright and catchy! I made an oblong card and found some polkadot CS which I just had to use. Then for the challenge I used the die from My Creative Time, I love it!

Then I also used a die from My Creative Time to make the flower.

I also used one of the stampset "Everyday Life" from My Pink Stamper.

Then I started to built! I used all the red things I could find! So big chunky ribbon, a wooden peg and this is the result! I am so proud!!

Robyn van My Pink Stamper heeft weer een challenge (uitdaging) voor Vaderdag, komt er natuurlijk weer aan! Het enige waar je aan moet voldoen is dat het Vader gerelateerd is! Lijkt me logisch :) Gelukkig heb ik een hele lieve schoonvader, dus daar heb ik een kaart voor gemaakt! Zo nu en dan heb je iemand waarvan je weet, dié persoon verdient nou een lintje! En waarom zou je wachten op de Koningin! Waarom geef je er zelf niet één!

Dus vandaar deze kaart, een overhemd met stropdas (mijn schoonvader ten voete uit!) met een lintje opgespeld!


Robyn from My Pink Stamper has a challenge for Fathers' Day! Unfortunately I don't have my dad anymore, but I do have the most wonderful Father-in-Law, he is such a cutie! So for him I made this card. In Holland there's a tradition, on Queensday (Official Day, named after our Queen) our Queen hands out ribbons for those whom achieved great in life! And they get a ribbon, which is a great honor and very rare, so if you get one, it is very special! But why wait for the Queen, when you can hand out one yourself!!! So I made a shirtcard with tie (that's what he is always wearing!) and I gave him my own ribbon! And it says "Top Dad"

Op MPS is weer een uitdaging! Je mag alles maken, dus ik ben toch maar voor een kaart gegaan!

(On MPS is another challenge from Robyn, I deceided to make a card!)

De kleuren zijn dit keer: Geel, Groen & Bruin! Niet de kleuren die ik zo 1-2-3 zou uitkiezen.

(The colors are yellow, green and brown, not the colors I would choose .....soon )

Maar Robyn vond ze in haar laatje en dacht....waarom niet!

( But Robyn found them in her scrapdraw and thought...why not!)

En hij is toch wel grappig geworden! (And it turned out pretty good!)

De basis is een bruine kaart, met daarop een gele laag, daarop een vrolijk bloemenpatroon met bruin, groen én geel erin verwerkt en daarop groen geruit lint met hartjes in de kleuren van de Challenge! Al met al een hele leuke "Heel erg bedankt" kaart!

(The cardbase is darkbrown, with a bright yellow top and on there a bright pink (OFCOURSE) pattern of flowers with brown, green and yellow in them and I used a green ribbon and punched harts in the colors of the challenge! It turned out to be a cute "Thank you so much" card
