This is what I made!

I wanted to make a box and looked for inspiration on the net and I found this awesome tutorial!!
I then made my own version and it turned out to be a 6,5 by 6,5 cm box! Hihihi.
When I had the base which I made with my favorite color Fuchcia, I then Cuttlebugged a circle out of one of the sides and put some plastic sheet (used from an old document I had from work, very handy) to create a window box! I then used this amazing DSP to put on top of the CS. I then put the box together and used a ribbon to tie it with. I then Cuttlebugged this superdupercute Rabbit and I made her dress the same as the DSP of the box, so she matched!
Believe it or not.....in my supermarket I found these chocolate eastereggs in EGG-actly the same colors!!! And the taste is amazing! It's mango with chilli!!! Never had that but it has the WOW factor!
Made me think of the amazing movie "Chocolate" with Johnny Depp!!!

Hoi allemaal, het is weer Cuttlebug Dinsdag en dat betekent weer een hele leuke challenge! Deze week doen we iets met chocola!!! Mijn favoriet!
Vergeet vooral niet bij mijn lieve teammaatjes te gaan kijken naar al het lekkers wat zij hebben gemaakt!

Ik vond een leuke tutorial op Youtube van een doosje en bij mij werd ie uiteindelijk 6,5 bij 6,5 cm! Geweldig dat het van een A4 is gemaakt! Ik heb mijn favoriete kleuren gebruikt, fuchcia roze en groen en met de Cuttlebug heb ik een venster gemaakt met een cirkel die van Nestabilities. Het venstertje heb ik voorzien van een plastic stukje, van een oude rapportage, handig om die plastic voorbladen te bewaren!
Vervolgens heb ik een Paashaasje gecuttlebugged en heb haar een jurkje van hetzelfde papier gegeven, zodat ze er echt bij paste! Ik vond ook nog super toevallig bijpassende paaseitjes bij AH met een heerlijke verrassende smaak, namelijk mango met chilipoeder, erg lekker! Moest meteen denken aan de film "Chocolate" met Johnny Depp! Het doosje heb ik gesloten met een roze lintje!
Ik vind hem zoooooooooo leuk geworden!!
Dit wordt wel mijn favoriete doosje!!!!

For this weeks challenge I went for my favorite character! Mr Snowman drawn by my sponsor DigiscrapKits,
isn't he snow adorable???

I needed a gifttag for my friends birthdaypresent, which was rather big, so I deceided to make
a huge gifttag...why not??
I cuttlebugged the background with a snowflake folder! And then I made the drawing big, that is so awesome with her drawings, you can make them as big and as small as you want and they still look amazing! I then cut him out and put buttons on his coat! A glittery ball at the end of his hat and some bows on his shoes, I made them with Twine from the Twinery.
The sentiment I printed on my computer and cut it out with one of the dies by My Creative Time!

Hoi allemaal, hopelijk hebben jullie een gewéldige Valentijn gehad! Ik werd verwend met Sushi, Zalm en ons favoriete ijs!
Deze dinsdag hebben we een leuke challenge! Maak iets leuks met knoopjes! Nou die hebben we allemaal wel liggen!
Ik heb van mijn sponser een te leuke sneeuwman gedownload! Ik moest meteen aan een sneeuwman denken bij knoopjes! Die heb ik groot gemaakt omdat ik een grote cadeaulabel nodig had voor een groot pakje! Ik heb de muts versierd met een pompom! En ik heb de achtergrond geCuttlebugged met een sneeuwflokken folder! En ik heb de schoenen van de sneeuwman voorzien van heuse veters! De tekst heb ik op de computer gemaakt en uitgeprint en uitgesneden met een die van My Creative Time! Ik vind hem superleuk geworden!!!

I hope you are not tired of hopping and are curious about what I have been making for
the Cuttlebug Valentine bloghop!
I made something sweet for my sweetheart, my husband.
He is not that romantic LOL so I made him a not-over-the-top card with his favorite snack inside, it is a
Dutch cookie, called "Stroopwafel".

A stroopwafel is a waffle made from two thin layers of baked batter with a caramel-like syrup filling in the middle.They were first made in Gouda in the Netherlands, in 1784. Large versions are sold in the streets as a snack.
The stiff batter for the waffles is made from flour, butter, brown sugar, yeast, milk, eggs. Medium sized balls of batter are put on the waffle iron. After the waffle has been baked, and while it's still warm, it's cut into halves. The warm filling, made from syrup, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon, is spread between the waffle halves, gluing them together.
The stroopwafel originates from Gouda in the Netherlands. It was first made during the late 18th century or early 19th century by a baker using leftovers from the bakery, such as breadcrumbs, which were sweetened with syrup. One story describes the invention of the stroopwafel to the baker Gerard Kamphuisen, which would date the first stroopwafels somewhere between 1810, the year when he opened his bakery, and 1840, the year of the oldest known recipe for syrup waffles. In the 19th century, there were around 100 syrup waffle bakers in Gouda, which was the only city in which they were made until 1870. After 1870 they were also made at parties and in markets outside the city of Gouda. In the 20th century, factories started to make stroopwafels. In 1960 there were 17 factories in Gouda alone, of which four are currently still open.

So this is what I made!I used this box before and you can alter it to any size, which is brill if you need an odd shape, like the cookies!
I used a scrap piece of not too pinkish CS and when I made the box, I punched out a border with little hearts! I then found these amazing DSP (Action!!) and put that both on the front as in the inside of the cardbox! I then cuttlebugged the dies from My Creative Time to write my message on! I took the photo without my message ofcourse LOL! For the final touch I added a nice pinkish ribbon!! Hope he likes it...but I am sure he will!

Deze week doen we een heuse Bloghop bij The Cuttlebug Spot en als het goed is kom je net van de blog van Andy!
Ik heb alvast een leuke kaart met inhoud gemaakt voor mijn mannetje, hij is helemaal niet zo romantisch maar is gek op stroopwafels en toen ik deze "Kanjers" zag dacht ik....die gebruik ik voor mijn eigen kanjer, hihi.
Een doosje was snel gemaakt (zie link hierboven) en dankzij het prachtige papier van de Action is het een echt Valentijntje geworden! Ik heb de dies van My Creative Time gebruikt waar ik mijn berichtje op zal schrijven! Ik hoop dat ie het leuk vindt maar eigenlijk weet ik dat wel zeker!

Can you believe it is February already? It's the month of love and that is what we are all about this month at The Cuttlebug Spot!

This is what I made, my BFF has her birthday this week and I love her very much! So I got this brown paper bag and used this for my project! I used 2 different pieces of DSP and I then Cuttlebugged the hearts, I used a big one and a smaller one, to cut the inside. They are from Nestabilities. I used chocolade brown paper for the hearts. After that I used the Swirls folder and ran the hearts through the Cuttlebug to give them a nice effect!

I put them on dimentionals. I then Cuttlebugged the little coffeecups and stamped them with Peachy Keen faces(my favorite!!!). I made two bows. I then stamped with the brilliant stamps by My Creative Time.

I then used chocolatebrown letters to spell "Like you a latte"

I bought a cool Coffee travelmug at Primark and a giftcard for Starbucks, so she can have her favorite coffee!

I love it!!! Hope you will join us in the fun!!



Jemig zeg, het is alweer februari!!! Wat gaat de tijd toch snel he? Deze maand hebben we een themamaand bij The Cuttlebug Spot, namelijk "De Liefde" en we beginnen met "Love is in the air".

Mijn beste vriendin is deze week jarig en ik hou heel veel van haar. Ik heb een bruine papieren tas versierd dit keer en oe wat issie leuk geworden! Ik heb 2 bruine harten uitgesneden met mijn Cuttlebug en uit het hart van het hart ook weer een hart...hihihi. Daarna heb ik het met een folder van krullen nog een keer geembossed, wat een mooi effect geeft. Vervolgens heb ik de koffiebekertjes uitgesneden met de Cuttlebug en deze gestempeld met de Peachy Keen gezichtjes, mijn favoriet!! Verder heb ik tas volgestempeld met stempeltjes van My Creative Time. Om de hartjes heb ik nog strikjes gemaakt met touw. Daarna heb ik mijn favoriete alfabetstickers erop geplakt, als finishing touch.

Ik heb een onwijs leuke koffiebeker bij Primark (gave winkel) gekocht met een cadeaukaart van de Starbucks, zodat ze haar favoriete koffie kan kopen!

Ik vind hem zoooooooooo leuk geworden en ik hoop dat jullie met ons mee gaan doen!!!

This is what I made!

It was a challenge for me this week! So I went through all my DSP and found this amazing red one! I think it both can be stars as snowflakes! And in The Netherlands we call a Snowflake a Snowstar...so best of both worlds I thought!!

I used a standard cardd (10*15 cm) and Cuttlebug a circle out of the DSP. I then printed this gorgious Snowman which ofcourse is from my sponsor Digiscrap Kits, isn't he gorgious? And look closely...he is wearing a star on his hat!!!

I then tried a new technique, for me! I took the Snowflake folder and ran the drawing entirly through the Cuttlebug and wow!!! I totally LOVE the effect it gives!!!!!!

I then made little bows with the Forktrick to give it a 3-D effect! I also used sticky lacetape and some hearts!

Hope you like it! I love it snow much!!



Hallo allemaal, The Cuttlebug Spot knutselt met sterren deze week! Het is de laatste week van de rij vormen en deze week hebben voor sterren gekozen! Is het niet leuk!
Ik vond dit een moeilijke en ben door mijn stapels papier gegaan en ben uiteindelijk voor deze rode gegaan! Het zijn zowel sterren als vlokjes vind ik en aangezien wij het vaak over sneeuwsterren hebben ben ik hier voor gegaan!
Ik heb met de Cuttlebug een cirkel gesneden en daarachter een prachtige tekening van DigiScrapKits, mijn sponsor geplakt. Ik heb de hele tekening geembossed en ik ben verliefd op hoe het geworden is!!! Ik hou van dit effect!
Vervolgens heb ik met de vorktruuk kleine strikjes gemaakt voor op zijn jas.

En ik heb nog kant plakband en mooie hartjes gebruikt als finishing touch!

Ik vind het zo leuk geworden!!!

Hi everyone!!

Hope you all are doing fine! We have had some snow here, it was really bad last Sunday and now slowly the snow starts to go away again, which I love. I don't like the snow when you have to go to work and are delayed every single day!!

Anyways more time to craft when you are indoors YIPPEEE!!!

And today we are still not in shape....so we are still going strong at The Cuttlebug Spot!

This week it is all about "Squares"

This is what I made, I had a birthday of my neighbour, she turned 13 and I helped making her treats for school. I found this cutie at Laurie Furnells'blog and have adjusted it to fit the chocolatebar! We made scarfs with ribbon..aren't they adorable??? it was a big hit!!


She is a big fan of someone who sang in "The Voice of Holland" but didn't make the finals, much to our disappointement! Anyways, she is a big star now already due to her beautiful voice so I deceided to give her the cd. I thought about the cd and thought....Hee that is a Square!!!

BINGO... I deceided to make a sleeve for it!

I got this cute green DSP and made a sleeve. I closed it with green ribbon. I then Cuttlebugged 2 beautiful butterflies which compliments the DSP, one in Fuchsia and one in my favorite green! In stickers I formed "Hooray" in Dutch.

She totally loved it!!!! Have fun with your square!!



Deze week hebben we natuurlijk veel overlast gehad met de sneeuw en hoewel het heel erg leuk is voor kleine kindjes en ik het ook heel schattig vind als er weer eentje voorbij huppelt met zijn/haar sleetje, ben ik er toch minder blij mee. Ik heb elke dag vertraging richting en van werk en ik ben er nu wel klaar mee.
Maar meer tijd om te knutselen en ja...daar zeg ik nooit nee tegen!

Ons buurmeisje was jarig en ik heb haar ook geholpen met haar schooltraktatie, samen met haar moeder en zus en vond de template zoals hierboven waar we koetjereepjes mee hebben bedekt! En ze is net als ik grote fan van Sandra Nieuwland en dus heeft ze de cd gekregen en dacht ik...mmm die cd is vierkant! Yes..deze week hebben we om nog steeds in vorm te komen...de vierkant! Dus hoe leuk om een hoesje om de cd te maken! Dus met mijn mooie papier heb ik dat dus gemaakt en heb ik met de Cuttlebug 2 prachtige vlinders gesneden in mijn favoriete kleuren! Is het niet prachtig? Het mapje sluit met een groen lintje!

Vergeet ook niet bij mijn collega DT te kijken voor al het moois zei hebben gemaakt!

This is what I made!

My dear friend is in hospital and I just had to make her a great card! So I really wanted to use an odd shape, so I chose an Spellbinders Nestabilities one, to create a stamp shaped card! In the middle I cut a circle, also with the Nestabilities, all done with my Cuttlebuggie!

I then made a nurse owl with the Stampin Up Owl Punch (LOVE IT) and used another die to make the branch she is sitting on.

As finishing touch I used googly eyes! Looks like she is framed!
Isn't she adorable?? Whoo-hoo!




Hoi allemaal, we zijn bij The Cuttlebug Spot nog steeds bezig om in vorm te komen en deze week doen we dat met "Cirkels"
Mijn lieve vriendinnetje ligt in het ziekenhuis dus ik wilde voor haar een leuke kaart maken met een aparte vorm. Toen dacht ik meteen aan mijn Nestabilities met de postzegelvorm, in het midden heb ik een cirkel gesneden.
Vervolgens heb ik een uiltje gemaakt met de Uilenpons van Stampin Up (ben ik helemaal verliefd op) en ik heb er een verpleegster van gemaakt! Ik heb haar op een takje gezet en ze lijkt net ingelijst! Is ze niet lief??

This is what I made, I knew what to make instantly!!! I have been making these forever!

I took a piece of purple CS (my favorite color!!), 13x26 cm and I cuttlebugged it with a nice folder, it's a Christmas one (Christmas vine by Craft Concepts), but you can't tell right?


I just really like the pattern it gives! I scored the paper in half so I would be 13 x 13 cm. Then I marked the middle of the short side (13 cm) and I scored so it looked like a triangle! I did that both ways.



I then put stickystrip on the outside lines of one side...so it can be closed, but I also put a ribbon on top, which already closed it so I left the sticky strip untouched and so it can be re-used! (Love that) The ribbon is pulled through two holes I made on top of the box.



I used two dies on the front! One from My Creative Time and one from My Favorite Things(the doily one)

And the white letters are also from My Creative Time, the alphabet is not only gorgious you can use it millions of times and so I formed the word "Hooray" in Dutch.


I love it!!!

Hoi allemaal, welkom bij de Eerste Cuttlebug Spot Dinsdag van het jaar 2013!
We moeten allemaal weer in VORM komen na de feestdagen dus wij ook en wat is dan leuker de hele maand te besteden aan allerlei vormen!

Deze maand doen we de driehoek en ik wist meteen wat ik wilde maken, ik maak dit al jaren! Nog voordat ik blogde.
Ik heb een stuk paars papier (mijn lievelingskleur) gepakt van 13x26 cm en deze heb ik gecuttlebugged met een embossingsfolder met Kerstthema, maar dat is niet echt te zien toch? Ik vind het zo'n mooie en sjieke print.
Vervolgens heb ik het papier dubbel gevouwen en elke helft weer in de helft verdeeld zodat je een driehoek krijgt (zie foto hierboven) het is heel makkelijk en je kunt het doosje in alle maten maken!

Vervolgens heb ik tape aan 2 zijkanten geplakt met de beschermlaag er nog op want doordat ik de strik boven dichtmaakte was het doosje dicht genoeg en hoef ik hem niet nog eens dicht te plakken! Dus het doosje kan herbruikt worden (hou ik van).
Het doosje kan dan op allerlei manieren versierd worden en omdat ik in verjaardagseizoen zit, heb ik er een verjaardagsdoosje van gemaakt met HOERA erop. Ik vind hem zo leuk geworden!!! Kan niet wachten om hem aan de jarige te geven!

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all ok? And enjoying the (almost) Winter? We had snow on Friday!! And it left on Saturday! Still it was nice to see.....now it is raining......still more time to be indoors and craft!!

This week we have yet another great Challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot!!

Now who doesn't like banners???? They are so festive and usuable for every occasion! So because I am way behind my Christmascards making I deceided to make a Christmassie one with one of my favorites...the Gingerbreadman!!!
I love the character although we are not familiour with him in the Netherlands!
I stamped his face with a Peachy Keen stamp (ofcours) and doddled him with a white gelpen! Isn't he adorable?? I put on a bow and some buttons and tada!

I created the banner out of.......Xmas trees!!! I had some DSP which I usually use as party hats...but they make great banners as well!! LOL
I also used red/white twine to hang the banner on!

The background is Cuttlebugged and the folder reminded me a little of a gingerbreadman...the shape looks like it..I think.

I love the card!!!!



Hopelijk gaat alles goed met jullie en zijn jullie niet ingesneeuwd! Het is wel écht knutselweer en we hebben weer zo'n leuke challenge bij The Cuttlebug Spot!
Maak een slinger! Nou wie houdt daar nou niet van??
Ik loop zo achter met mijn Kerstkaarten maken, dat ik dacht...ik maak een kerstkaart, met één van mijn favorietjes...het gingermannetje! Met een paar knopjes en een strikje en geteken met de witte gelpen...issie toch prachtig geworden!!

De vlaggetjes heb ik gemaakt van omgekeerde kerstboompjes! Dit vel heb ik al bijna helemaal opgeknipt, vaak gebruik ik het als feestmutsjes maar ze werken ook prima als vlaggetjes!

Met rode twine heb ik de draad gemaakt waar ze aan hangen!

De achtergrond deed me denken aan de vorm van het gingermannetje, daarom heb ik hem geCuttlebugged!

Doen jullie ook mee, laten we de boel versieren!!!

Because I love snowmen I wanted to make a "Winter" card! What I did is I went through all my stamps and put all my Wintery/Xmas stamps together and made a choice out of those. I stamped the Snowman twice on white CS and twice on DSP.
I cut them out and put them on a Snowflake background which I cuttlebugged!

The banner is from My Creative Time and the stamp is from My Pink Stamper (retired)


I think it is snow adorable!!!

We hebben weer een leuke challenge bij The Cuttlebug Spot! Maak iets in de 4 seizoenen, dus kies je favoriet en doe er iets leuks mee en plaats hem op onze blog want er zijn weer mooie prijzen te winnen!!

Ik heb gekozen voor de winter, ik ben gek op sneeuwpoppen. Heb een keuze gemaakt uit de vele stempels die ik heb en heb ze vervolgens 2x op wit gestempeld en 2x op leuk papier. Vervolgens heb ik ze op een achtergrond van sneeuw geplakt, die ik gemaakt heb met mijn Cuttlebug!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday

Hi everyone!

A little later than usual, but it was a busy week!

We have another great challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot!!!

Make a Scrap Sandwich!! Take scraps and built in layers....like a sandwich!

We all have scraps, I know I do, I have tonns (hihihi)

I like to save all the nice scraps of paper, because there is always use for them.

Because we are still in the middle of Dutch Xmas I deceided to make an early Xmas card with my scraps! I really wanted to make a wreath and that made me think of a frontdoor and there it happened.

I used chocolate brown CS for the front of the card (Yes it was a bigger scrap) and cut smaller squares to built the layers. I ran the squares through the Cuttlebug between the woodgrain folder. I then got my green scraps and punched out a lot of leaves! I also Cuttlebugged a circle to put the leaves on. I then used some twine to put around the wreath an made a bow with the famous fork trick. The sticker which says "December" is a left over too! From last year.

Hoi allemaal, een beetje later dan normaal, het was een drukke week! We zijn er weer met de Cuttlebug Dinsdag en deze week hebben we een super leuke challenge!
Maak een sandwich van restjes! Nou die hebben we allemaal liggen, ik zeker!!!
Ik gebruik ze graag en gooi liever nooit iets weg, er is altijd nog wel iets van te gebruiken! Hoewel we nog midden in Sinterklaas zitten, heb ik toch mijn eerste Kerstkaart al gemaakt. Ik wilde zo graag zo'n krans maken voor aan de deur en zo ontstond de kaart. Ik maakte eerst een voordeur uit donkerbruin karton (echt een restje) en daarna maakte ik vierkantjes, voor de laagjes van de sandwich, om de panelen van de deur te creeëren, deze heb ik door de Cuttlebug tussen de Woodgrainfolder gehaald om de houtnerf te maken. Vervolgens heb ik een cirkel gesneden en daar heb ik de blaadjes opgeplakt. Die heb ik uit restjes geponst. Daarna heb ik rode twine om de krans gedraaid en hem opgehangen aan de deur. Het strikje heb ik wederom me de vorktruuk gemaakt. De kleine besjes zijn de oogjes van de Owlpunch...wat een werk. Het woordje December had ik nog over van een vel van vorig jaar.

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!!

How are you?? I have been sooooooooooooo busy, but I am loving every minute of it!

We also have another amazing challenge! "Use 3 different Embossing/Diecutting Items"

Because I had little time I had to come up with something quick but nice! And this idea made me think of our dear friends in America, who are going to visit us at the end of December, because my husband and I will be celebrating our 12,5 years Weddinganniversary and in The Netherlands we celebrate this BIG.

We Skyped yesterday and it was SNOW much fun, not only to see them, including the guinea pig Darwin!! But they also told us they had a lot of snow falling over the weekend!!! SNOW?? We had the most beautiful sunny Autumn day yesterday!!!

So I look a lot on the internet, in Hobbyland to be amazed of all that is made! And I saw this amazing helicopterview Snowman! Which I had to make!!

So the 3 different Embossing/Diecutting items have been used like this:
1. Embossed the background with a Snowflake folder
2. Diecut the circels of the Snowman ánd his hat
3. Diecut a Curly Label by My Creative Time(love it!!)

And I made a card 5"x5" from CS and put some white embossed CS on top of that. I then build the Snowman and put the arms in between. I then made a scarf out of sticky ribbon. I put some white accents on his hat with my white gel pen, to make it look like snow. I put some googly eyes to give him some character! Love it!!!
The sentiment I used is by My Pink Stamper- Winter Punnies (love it!!)



Hallo allemaal, ik heb het echt ontzettend druk maar vond toch nog even tijd om een kaart te maken voor mijn favoriete dag van de week! De Cuttlebug Spot dinsdag!
We hebben deze dinsdag wel superleuk nieuws te vertellen!! We hebben namelijk een geweldig nieuw team, een mix van het oude met het nieuwe! Geweldig, ze zijn allemaal zo getalenteerd en we zijn zo blij met hun in onze Cuttlebug Spot Familie!

Deze week hebben we natuurlijk ook weer een hele leuke challenge!
Namelijk gebruik 3 Embossing of 3 Diecutting ontwerpen. Ik kwam dit voorbeeld tegen op mijn vele genietmomentjes in Hobbyland, waar ik zoveel moois altijd tegenkom! Ik heb een sneeuwpop van bovenaf gemaakt en heb de sneeuwman gesneden met de circelsdie en zijn hoed ook, de achtergrond met sneeuwvlokken heb ik geembossed en ik heb de Die van My Creative Time gesneden en een leuke stempel van My Pink Stamper gebruikt. Die ik ook weer heb embossed!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday !

Can you believe it is November already? It is also Tuesday which means fun challenges at The Cuttlebug Spot!

This weeks challenge is "Leaves/Fall" and make an project/card with that!

This is what I made and it took me a few hours, my word, but sooooo worth it!

I was taking a shower when this idea popped in my head! I wanted to make a Stepcard, because I love the effect and I wanted leaves to try my new Peachy Keen faces!!!
It took me forever to Cuttlebug all these leaves! But it was fun, I used leftover, which are great for little leaves like this.
I then got some green DSP and used that on the Craftpaper and then I glued on the stamped leaves, I love them, they are so cute!
I also put some orange bakerstwine on the card and the sentiment I made on my computer!

We hebben weer een ontzettende leuke challenge bij The Cuttlebug Spot en deze week is het thema blaadjes/Herfst! En maak daar een kaart of iets anders van.
Het idee wat ik heb gemaakt is ontstaan tijdens het douchen en ik wist dat ik een Stepkaart wilde maken, om het de kaart meer diepte te geven. Vervolgens wilde ik kleine blaadjes gaan maken met de Cuttlebug om zo mijn nieuwe Peachykeen stempels te gebruiken, zijn de gezichtjes niet poepig??? Het kostte me uren maar o wat is het resultaat gewéldig!! De tekst heb ik gemaakt op de computer! Ik ben zo blij met het resultaat en hoop jullie gauw te zien bij de Cuttlebug Spot! En vergeet niet de geweldige kaarten te bekijken van ons DT!

Hi! Hasn't this week flown by?? Amazing!!

Nearly Halloween for the U.S.A. and this weeks project at The Cuttlebug Spot is all about my favorite!!!
"Make a project with an Owl" YIPPEE

I had an idea instantly! I saw a tutorial a long time ago how somebody made an owl out of a circle! So I cuttlebugged two circles and punched out a piece on the top which formed the Owl's points and I made the eyes with furniture protect circles and the belly is another little circle I cuttlebugged out of a Starbuck holder.

I then punched out a zillion (hihi) leaves to create a stash where they sat in!
I cut out some clouds and tadaaaa I love it!!

Wat gaat een week toch snel he? Zitten we lekker alweer op de dinsdag en dat betekent The Cuttlebug Spot! En deze week is het met mijn favorietjes, namelijk maak iets met een uil!
En ik wist meteen wat ik wilde maken, een tijdje geleden had ik iemand een uil zien maken van een cirkel. Dus met cirkels die ik met de Cuttlebug heb uitgesneden heb ik aan de bovenkant met een pons een stukje eruit geponst wat de vorm van het uiltje meteen maakt. De ogen heb ik met meubelviltjes gemaakt en het buikje van een houder van de Starbucks.

Daarna heb ik ziljoenen blaadjes geponst en die heb ik rondom ze geplakt zodat het lijkt alsof ze in een berg met blaadjes zitten te spelen! De wolkjes heb ik uit DSP geknipt!

Ik vind hem gewéldig gelukt!!!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!! We have had some great sunny weather overhere which was wonderful!

For this weeks challenge at The Cuttlebug Spot we have a spooky one......can you guess??

Yes! It's Halloweentime and the challenge is
Halloweentime use the colors Black, Purple and Orange!

We don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands, but I do love the things that has to do with it, although I am very scared in the dark, I love the craftstuff and the pumpkins!

And so I deceided to make a cute Halloween card, I die cut a black card with the Spellbinders Nestabilities "Blossom Three" with the good old Cuttlebuggie and this shape kinda made me think of a web....so I cuttlebugged a spiderweb on some Purple CS which is the base of the card. I then used the Owlpunch by Stampin'Up which is my fav! And I gave him a Witch hat with the Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Witches'Brew". Isn't he adorable??

The finishing touch is the cute sticker out of cardboard!!!

I think it is soooooooooooooooo cute!!!

Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal een heel leuk weekend hebben gehad, het was hier echt perfect weer, heerlijk het zonnetje er nog bij.

Deze week hebben we een hele toepasselijke challenge, want wat is het volgende week??
Juist Halloween en hoewel we het hier niet vieren, we vieren immers Sint Maarten, vind ik het thema te leuk om niets mee te doen.
Dus hup mijn uiltje weer uit de kast, van Stampin'Up en met een paar prachtige Spellbinders Shapeabilties heb ik de de vorm van de kaart gemaakt. De bloemvorm deed me aan een spinnenweb denken en daarom heb ik die vorm gekozen. Ik heb een spinnenweb geembossed en het uiltje hierop geplakt. Ik heb hem nog een heksenhoed gegeven als finishing touch met een bijpassende sticker! Vind het zoooooooo goed gelukt!!!

Cuttlebug Tuesday

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok and enjoying the Fall!

For this weeks challenge we have a very special guest at The Cuttlebug Spot, it's Miss Emma from My Creative Time, I love her!!
Not only is she very clever, she is my hero and I am proud that she has done us the honor!

For this weeks challenge it's early Thanksgiving time
"Make a 3D project with a Turkey" gobble gobble gobble!
A while ago I was on You Tube and found this amazing tutorial. It's a project for a paper pumkin! A great tutorial and I made it instantely!

Here is the result:

Isn't it gorgious? It's only my first attempt, you could sponge it to give it more interest, endless!

So when I had to come up for an idea for this weeks challenge, I thought of this pumpkin instantely and thought...this could be a perfect Turkey belly!!

And so I made one!

I started with Chocolatebrown CS and made 10 - 6"x 1" strips to for the body! I then used the Paisleyfolder and run them through the Cuttlebug to give it more texture. I then used one of the amazing drawings by Trina Clark, I only used the Turkey's head and mirrored it and put a woodpick in between to make it steady.
I then put the head on the body (lots of struggle but I got it in the end) and I used little leaves (Nestabilities)to make his neck. His little feet are made from 2 hearts also from Nestabilities.

His tail is made by 4 big leaves which I also Cuttlebugged to give it more texture as well, I LOVE IT!!!

And the funny thing is, if you open his belly, you can use it as a giftholder, for the host, you could put some chocolates in there or a bracelet or earrings.

Isn't it superduper cute???

Deze week hebben we weer een hele leuke challenge, bij The Cuttlebug Spot, namelijk, maak een 3D object met een kalkoen! Een tijdje geleden vond ik op You Tube een hele leuke uitleg van een papieren pompoen en die heb ik toen ook meteen gemaakt, zie voorbeeld hierboven. Toen ik moest gaan bedenken wat ik voor deze challenge zou ga maken, dacht ik hé die pompoen kan ik ook als lijfje gebruiken van een kalkoen. En zo ontstond deze, het lijfje heb ik gemaakt van 10 stripjes en deze heb ik met een embossingfolder verfraaid. Zijn staart is gemaakt van 4 bladeren, ook geCuttlebugged en zijn koppie heb ik uitgeprint van één van de gewéldige tekeningen van Digiscrap Kits. Het was wel een gepriegel om hem in elkaar te krijgen maar oh oh oh wat issie weer leuk!! Je kunt het buikje openschuiven waardoor er ruimte ontstaat om een klein cadeautje in te stoppen voor de gastvrouw, bijvoorbeeld chocolaatjes of oorbelletjes of iets dergelijks!

Kom dus gauw mee doen met ons want ik ben zo benieuwd wat jullie hiervan maken!

As you know I love freebies so I look for them all the time! I found this amazing freebie at Amanda's Parties to go. All I needed to do is print the tie and I made a card with different shades of blue and I just had to use the sentiment " You are tie-riffic! I think that is awesome!!!

Het is alweer Cuttlebug Dinsdag en deze week hebben we natuurlijk iets voor Vaderdag, wat we a.s. zondag vieren! De opdracht is om diverse kleuren blauw te gebruiken!
Ik heb een oblong kaart gemaakt met een freebie die ik heb gevonden bij Amanda's Parties to go en het enige wat ik heb gedaan is deze onwijs leuke stropdas uitprinten en er vervolgens een leuke kaart van te maken!!

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday

Is it Tuesday already?? I love Cuttlebug Tuesday and we have another great challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot!
In the UK they are celebrating the Queens' jubilee, she has been a queen for 60 years! So that requires a great gift/card.

So our challenge this week is make a gift/card fitted for a Queen!

This is what I made:

I made a gift, a little explosionbox and when it's opened there is a little felted frog waiting for you, wearing his crown and waiting to be kissed! I put the story of the Princess and the Frog inside there as well, so it makes a good little storybook for little Princesses!
I got the template of the frog from internet, you can find so much stuff on the internet!
It took me some time, but he was worth it, he is the cutiest! I printed the story in Word and made it fit the explosion box. On the tag I used a stamp from My Creative Time and I used Versamark and then I embossed it with white embossing powder! To make it fit for a Queen I used rhinestones!

Deze week is een Koninklijke Challenge, in Engeland viert de Koningin haar 60e jubilieum als Koningin en daarom maken wij een kaart/cadeau geschikt voor een Koningin. Ik heb besloten een explosionbox te maken, vind die zo leuk en als je deze opent, dan wacht daar een klein kikkertje op je met een kroontje. Misschien als je hem kust verandert hij in een prins! Ik heb hem van vilt gemaakt en dat kostte wel wat tijd, maar hij was het waard, hij is zoooo leuk!!! En vervolgens heb ik het verhaal van de Prinses en de Kikker uitgeprint en aan de binnenkant van het doosje geplakt, dus het is ook nog eens een klein voorleesboekjes voor een klein prinsesje.
Vind het zoooooooooooo goed gelukt!!

This is what I made! Although we celebrate Mothersday on May 13th as well, I deceided to make a flowery card for any occasion! I was inspired by one of my favorite blogs! I saw this amazing card at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. Thank you Dawn!
I really wanted to try this one and I changed the size into 7,5 x 4,25 inch and used the Spellbinders Nestabilities Blossom Three to make a flower! I then made a few more out of different kinds of DSP and to finish the flower off I used a pearl brad! I then punched out a zillion (it felt like it hihihi) little flowers in the same colors as the big flower and put a little pearl in the middle of each flower! I then curled the leaves of the flowers to give it some interest! I then found the perfect sticker/sentiment from "Jillibean soup" Chilled Strawberry Soup cardstock stickers! Love those!!!! It says "Friends are flowers in Life's garden" I LOVE THAT!!
To finish it off I used ribbon in the same pinkish color!

Hallo allemaal, weer een geweldige challenge bij the Cuttlebug Spot en wel eentje voor Moederdag, ja die staat alweer voor de deur!! We willen graag dat je met behulp van je Cricut of Cuttlebug bloemen maakt en die een hoofdrol laten spelen in je kaart! Wanneer je geen Moederdagkaart wilt/kunt maken mag dit ook een bloemenkaart zijn voor elke gelegenheid!
We hebben dit keer écht een geweldige prijs dus ik zou zeker mee doen!

Ons team heeft ook weer fantastische creaties gemaakt, vergeet ook die niet te bezoeken!

Ik heb me laten inspireren door een bloemenkaart voor elk seizoen en wel op de site van Dawn's Stamping Thoughts, één van mijn favoriete blogs! Toen ik deze techniek zag, wilde ik hem meteen maken!
Ik heb een bloem gebruikt van de Spellbinders Nestabilities Blossom Three. Daarna heb ik uit verschillende papiertjes meer bloemen gemaakt en deze samen met een parelbrad vastgemaakt! Daarna heb ik miljoenen (zo voelde dat hihi) bloemetjes geponst en deze opgeplakt met een pareltje in het midden. Vervolgens heb ik de blaadjes gekrult om het meer diepte te geven. Ik vond toen de perfecte sticker met de tekst "Friends are flowers in Life's garden" en om het helemaal af te maken heb ik fuchsiaroze lint gebruikt en daar een strik van gemaakt.
Door de frisse kleurtjes en de techniek is het écht een hele bijzondere kaart geworden!!

Another great challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot! This time it's an Easelcard! you can find a lot of examples on the internet or better yet...go and see what our amazing DT members have done with it!!!

Easelcards are thé easiest ones to make! All you have to do is devide a card in half, and then you take the front and devide that as well and tadaaa your Easelcard is done! Now the funpart begins....decorating!Start with the holder that will keep the Easel in place! You can use whatever you want, a brad, a bow...

I have a birthdaytsunami coming so my theme was easy ....a bird-dayone! As you know..my blog has a big Owl on it....so you might have guessed by now I love Owls....especially the drawn ones! So to continue my last theme on the Cuttlebug Spot challenge, it's another Owl card!!! I love how it has turned out!! I started running a piece of green CS through the Cuttlebug to create this wonderful tree! I then cut out these cute little Owls out of DSP, it is from "Jillibean Soup - Spotted Owl Soup - 3 Dancing Hats" what a shame I only bought one sheet!!! I have used it before on a giftcard holder and it very suitable for a boy/man!

Then I placed the Owls in the tree and the birthdayowl has a hat, also from this paper!! I then used the Alphabetdie from My Favorite Things to cut out chocolatebrown letters which spell "Hip Hip Whoohooray" only in Dutch then! I created a holder. I used dimentionals and a strip of Party hats!hihihi Hope the birthdayboy/teen will like it! He has a twinbrother so I have to make him a card as well ofcourse, but I will make a totally different one, not sure yet what! Please join us in the fun Challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot!

Vandaag weer een superleuke challenge bij de the Cuttlebug Spot!

We doen deze keer een "Easelkaart" het lijkt op een schilderij die op een ezel staat, zo makkelijk om te maken.

Weet je niet hoe het moet, kijk dan eens bij onze geweldige DT leden!

Ik heb weer enorm veel verjaardagen deze komende weken dus het thema van de kaart was makkelijk! Een verjaardagskaart. Zoals jullie misschien al hebben gezien, staat er een prachtige uil op mijn blog, ik hou van uiltjes, maar dan vooral de getekende! Dus hoe kon ik dan ook niet anders dan het thema doorzetten van de vorige challenge en weer uitjes gebruiken! Hij is weer zo goed gelukt! Ik heb een boom gemaakt met behulp van mijn Cuttlebug en een boomfolder, hij is erg mooi geworden vind ik. Vervolgens heb ik de uiltjes uit een geweldig themapapier geknipt, van "Jillibean - Spotted Owl Soup - 3 Dancing Hats" en die willekeurig in de boom gezet.

Het jarige uiltje heeft een feestmuts uit hetzelfde papier gekregen! Vervolgens heb ik met een die van My Favorite Things het woord van "Hiep Hiep Hoeoera" gemaakt! Vind deze letters zo mooi! De houder om de kaart tegen te houden is gemaakt van een rand feesthoedjes, ook uit hetzelfde papier, die ik vervolgens op foamblokjes heb geplakt! Hij is weer superpoepig geworden! Doe dus ook gauw mee met deze gewéldige challenge!!
