Father Snow Christmas!

in this very busy month!

I bought Peppermint balls because they look like
snowballs right?

It's 3D Wednesday at My Creative Time

Today we are showcasing a 3D gift at My Creative Time,
my favorite thing to make!

Because it has been pretty cold these last few days
I thought why not give somebody some Hot Chocolate to go in a cute bag!
And when it is cold, I think of my one of my favorite characters too.....

So Emma has a Snowman in her store but I wanted to built my own Snowman!!
Ofcourse   :)

And tadaa this is him, isn't he snow adorable??

I love to make 3D items and this time I made a giftcard holder,
because we need them all the time right?

Tomorrow is my birthday and I love Snowman
so I thought I would make a Snowman as  a giftcard holder !!

This is what I used to make this cutie:

Coffee Gift Card Holder Die

I used the sleeve to turn into the scarf by cutting it in half

I also used the Stitched Button Dies

And the  Hot Chocolate Season stamp and die set which I die cut with the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies

And ofcourse a Peacy Keen snowman face to finish it off

Welcome to another Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday Challenge

I made a cocoa holder, it is winter after all right?

I kept it pretty easy, but used the cute DSP

I die cut 2 squares with the Stitched Square Dies Inside & Out from My Creative Time

And the sentiment is printed from Karin Joan

I die cut a strip and handstamped the name

Deze challenge vieren we de winter en natuurlijk mag de Sneeuwman
hierin niet ontbreken!

Ik heb een zakje chocolademelk leuk ingepakt in gewéldig papier (Stampin Up) en dan heb je nog weinig nodig!

Ik heb de sneeuwpop (ook Stampin Up) gestempeld en aangekleed met een setje van een mutsje, handschoenen en een sjaaltje.

De tekst heb ik geprint van Karin Joan en het labeltje heb ik uitgesneden met een die en de naam handgestempeld met losse lettertjes

Today I can show you the card I designed for my sweet friend Tiffany from Pretty in Paper!

I used old and new Stampin Up because I can.

This is Tiffany her card and I love her touches and I learned from her as well!!

She used Puff Paint unfortunately ours is stuck in customs...hopefully we can order it soon!

This puff stuff is magic!!

I used Nestabilities Circles to make the Snowman

And so are the mittens from Winter Cheer Stamp Set made from felt.

Happy 1st Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday/Dinsdag of 2014

Hello everyone!

 

Welcome again to our Cuttlebug Mania Tuesday! And we hope you will love to join our challenges this year once again!!!

 

This week we are a bit "Distressed".... Not to worry!!!

We would love you to use distressing on your project, so rip, ink or sand away!

 

This is what I came up with! Although the weather is very unusual for this time of year, it is 14 Degrees Celcius!! Winter is Snowman time and so I had to make a Snowman.

The distressing part I did to the snow, which I Cuttlebugged with our favorite Dotts folder!!

 

I made the Snowman with Nestability circles and his hat and tie and arms are all from dies from My Creative Time ofcourse! The Snowman face and nose are from Peachy Keen, I love it!

I think he is very Classy!

 

Deze week beginnen we een beetje verscheurd....nee hoor, zo erg is het niet, we willen graag dat je iets doet met je project, scheuren, inkten of zelfs schuren met die hap!

Ik had zin om een Sneeuwpop te maken, alhoewel het weer er niet naar vraagt, het is heerlijk zonnig weer en dat voor januari! Ik heb de sneeuw gemaakt van gescheurd papier en met Dotts, één van mijn favoriete folders, geCuttlebugged. Vervolgens heb ik de cirkels gemaakt van Nestabilities en de hoed, stropdas en armpjes zijn van My Creative Time. Zijn gezichtje en neus zijn van Peachy Keen!

For this weeks challenge I went for my favorite character! Mr Snowman drawn by my sponsor DigiscrapKits,
isn't he snow adorable???

I needed a gifttag for my friends birthdaypresent, which was rather big, so I deceided to make
a huge gifttag...why not??
I cuttlebugged the background with a snowflake folder! And then I made the drawing big, that is so awesome with her drawings, you can make them as big and as small as you want and they still look amazing! I then cut him out and put buttons on his coat! A glittery ball at the end of his hat and some bows on his shoes, I made them with Twine from the Twinery.
The sentiment I printed on my computer and cut it out with one of the dies by My Creative Time!

Hoi allemaal, hopelijk hebben jullie een gewéldige Valentijn gehad! Ik werd verwend met Sushi, Zalm en ons favoriete ijs!
Deze dinsdag hebben we een leuke challenge! Maak iets leuks met knoopjes! Nou die hebben we allemaal wel liggen!
Ik heb van mijn sponser een te leuke sneeuwman gedownload! Ik moest meteen aan een sneeuwman denken bij knoopjes! Die heb ik groot gemaakt omdat ik een grote cadeaulabel nodig had voor een groot pakje! Ik heb de muts versierd met een pompom! En ik heb de achtergrond geCuttlebugged met een sneeuwflokken folder! En ik heb de schoenen van de sneeuwman voorzien van heuse veters! De tekst heb ik op de computer gemaakt en uitgeprint en uitgesneden met een die van My Creative Time! Ik vind hem superleuk geworden!!!

This is what I made!

It was a challenge for me this week! So I went through all my DSP and found this amazing red one! I think it both can be stars as snowflakes! And in The Netherlands we call a Snowflake a Snowstar...so best of both worlds I thought!!

I used a standard cardd (10*15 cm) and Cuttlebug a circle out of the DSP. I then printed this gorgious Snowman which ofcourse is from my sponsor Digiscrap Kits, isn't he gorgious? And look closely...he is wearing a star on his hat!!!

I then tried a new technique, for me! I took the Snowflake folder and ran the drawing entirly through the Cuttlebug and wow!!! I totally LOVE the effect it gives!!!!!!

I then made little bows with the Forktrick to give it a 3-D effect! I also used sticky lacetape and some hearts!

Hallo allemaal, The Cuttlebug Spot knutselt met sterren deze week! Het is de laatste week van de rij vormen en deze week hebben voor sterren gekozen! Is het niet leuk!
Ik vond dit een moeilijke en ben door mijn stapels papier gegaan en ben uiteindelijk voor deze rode gegaan! Het zijn zowel sterren als vlokjes vind ik en aangezien wij het vaak over sneeuwsterren hebben ben ik hier voor gegaan!
Ik heb met de Cuttlebug een cirkel gesneden en daarachter een prachtige tekening van DigiScrapKits, mijn sponsor geplakt. Ik heb de hele tekening geembossed en ik ben verliefd op hoe het geworden is!!! Ik hou van dit effect!
Vervolgens heb ik met de vorktruuk kleine strikjes gemaakt voor op zijn jas.

En ik heb nog kant plakband en mooie hartjes gebruikt als finishing touch!

Ik vind het zo leuk geworden!!!

Because I love snowmen I wanted to make a "Winter" card! What I did is I went through all my stamps and put all my Wintery/Xmas stamps together and made a choice out of those. I stamped the Snowman twice on white CS and twice on DSP.
I cut them out and put them on a Snowflake background which I cuttlebugged!

The banner is from My Creative Time and the stamp is from My Pink Stamper (retired)


I think it is snow adorable!!!

Ik heb gekozen voor de winter, ik ben gek op sneeuwpoppen. Heb een keuze gemaakt uit de vele stempels die ik heb en heb ze vervolgens 2x op wit gestempeld en 2x op leuk papier. Vervolgens heb ik ze op een achtergrond van sneeuw geplakt, die ik gemaakt heb met mijn Cuttlebug!

Peachy Keens - Just cards - Shape it Up

Over at Peachy Keen Stamp blog(love it!!) they have this great challenge!!

Peachy Keen Challenge 43 :: Just Cards :: Shape It Up!
Guidelines
•Design must be new
•Design must be a card (Just Cards) and be a shaped card (something other than the standard square or rectangle.

I am a huge fan of the Peachy Keen faces and lucky for me I own a few! My latest addition, which I really wanted, was PKS-09 Snow Girl, I really wanted those faces with a carrot!!

So when I saw this challenge, I deceided to use this one and make a Snowgirl! I made a round card and embossed the top of the card with my Cuttlebug Folder Snowflakes, to give it a Wintery feel! Then I cut out two circles to make the Snowgirl. I stamped it with the cute little face and wrapped a pink scraf around here. I also made a little pink bow out of Twine to put on her head. The buttons on her belly are little pink hearts, after all she is a girl! Then I stamped a Wintersaying "Warm Winter wishes" only it is in Dutch, because I am Dutch :)

I just love it!! Thank you for this great Challenge!!!


Op de blog van Peachy Keen Stamp hebben ze een ontzettend leuke challenge, namelijk maak een kaart in een vorm. Ik ben een enorme fan van de Peachy Keen gezichtjes, ze zijn hier niet te krijgen, maar ik heb er gelukkig een aantal en ben er heel erg blij mee. Mijn laatste aanwinst, die ik echt graag wilde hebben, is een sneeuwpopgezichtje, met zo'n wortelneus!!

Dus toen ik deze Challenge zag, besloot ik er eentje te maken met dit gezichtje! Ik heb een ronde kaart gemaakt. De bovenkant heb ik geembossed met een sneeuwvlokken folder, die ik door de Cuttlebug heb gehaald. Vervolgens heb ik nog 2 cirkels gesneden om het Sneeuwpop meisje van te maken. Ik heb haar het leuke gezichtje gegeven en haar vervolgens een roze sjaal. De knopen op haar buik zijn hartjes en het stempeltje heb ik ook geembossed. Het is een stempeltje van de set van Eline's Words EC0138.

It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!!

How are you?? I have been sooooooooooooo busy, but I am loving every minute of it!
And I did find some time for my favorite day of the week "Cuttlebug Tuesday"

We also have another amazing challenge! "Use 3 different Embossing/Diecutting Items"

Because I had little time I had to come up with something quick but nice! And this idea made me think of our dear friends in America, who are going to visit us at the end of December, because my husband and I will be celebrating our 12,5 years Weddinganniversary and in The Netherlands we celebrate this BIG.

We Skyped yesterday and it was SNOW much fun, not only to see them, including the guinea pig Darwin!! But they also told us they had a lot of snow falling over the weekend!!! SNOW?? We had the most beautiful sunny Autumn day yesterday!!!

So I look a lot on the internet, in Hobbyland to be amazed of all that is made! And I saw this amazing helicopterview Snowman! Which I had to make!!

So the 3 different Embossing/Diecutting items have been used like this:
1. Embossed the background with a Snowflake folder
2. Diecut the circels of the Snowman ánd his hat
3. Diecut a Curly Label by My Creative Time(love it!!)

And I made a card 5"x5" from CS and put some white embossed CS on top of that. I then build the Snowman and put the arms in between. I then made a scarf out of sticky ribbon. I put some white accents on his hat with my white gel pen, to make it look like snow. I put some googly eyes to give him some character! Love it!!!
The sentiment I used is by My Pink Stamper- Winter Punnies (love it!!)



Hallo allemaal, ik heb het echt ontzettend druk maar vond toch nog even tijd om een kaart te maken voor mijn favoriete dag van de week! De Cuttlebug Spot dinsdag!
We hebben deze dinsdag wel superleuk nieuws te vertellen!! We hebben namelijk een geweldig nieuw team, een mix van het oude met het nieuwe! Geweldig, ze zijn allemaal zo getalenteerd en we zijn zo blij met hun in onze Cuttlebug Spot Familie!

Deze week hebben we natuurlijk ook weer een hele leuke challenge!
Namelijk gebruik 3 Embossing of 3 Diecutting ontwerpen. Ik kwam dit voorbeeld tegen op mijn vele genietmomentjes in Hobbyland, waar ik zoveel moois altijd tegenkom! Ik heb een sneeuwpop van bovenaf gemaakt en heb de sneeuwman gesneden met de circelsdie en zijn hoed ook, de achtergrond met sneeuwvlokken heb ik geembossed en ik heb de Die van My Creative Time gesneden en een leuke stempel van My Pink Stamper gebruikt. Die ik ook weer heb embossed!

Telescoping Snowman / Doorgedraaide Sneeuwpop

Hi there, New Year so New projects!

I saw one some time ago, there are different versions, but I was inspired by this one from Amy's Art from the Heart. She had made an ornament for in her Christmastree and I was inspired by her colors, I just love green. He is snow cute!

So this is my attempt, I used ribbon as a scarf and made the arms out of a piece of wallpaper! (You can get them at DIY stores as a sample!!)

I think he is adorable! I think I will try to make a little one, see how that goes!

Hallo allemaal, nieuw jaar dus nieuwe knutselfrutsels!
Ik zag deze een poosje geleden, er staan er een flink aantal op internet, maar bij deze was ik echt geïnspireerd om hem meteen te gaan maken! Hij staat op de blog van Amy's Art from the Heart. De kleuren spraken me meteen aan, ik hou zo van (lime) groen. Hij is zoooo leuk! Dus dit is mijn poging, ik heb lint gebruikt als sjaal en zijn armpjes heb ik gemaakt van een stukje behang (te verkrijgen bij de GAMMA/Praxis). Ik vind hem superleuk geworden en ga er nog een keertje eentje maken, maar wil dan een kleinere versie proberen, kijken hoe dat gaat!
