we don't celebrate Halloween in The Netherlands
so was happy to find these

And I just had to use my Glow-In-The-Dark
paper to make my Ghosts

So did you know English/American has a lot of Dutch
words which are still spoken?
So Stay Spooky.....Spook is Ghost in Dutch
So I just had to just hat sentiment right?

Five Days of Christmas - My Creative Time - Day 1

such as cards, tags, treat holders, gift card holders
& what ever else comes to mind
that will help YOU get your creative juices
flowing for the holiday!

On the first day of Christmas
My Creative Time gave to you

and I made 2 different ones
one for Xmas and
one for Sinterklaas

And boy do we need them for all the presents
Santa brings each year...right?

And Emma was so nice to help Santa with this
and to help us at the same time!

So I deceided to make 2 options
1. when you have the cute DSP paper
2. when you don't have it and still want cute tags

Christmas Gingerbread Kisses 6x6 Paper Pad

In the Netherlands we are celebrating
Sinterklaas at this time !!!

He arrived by Steamboat all the way from Spain

on November 12th and will leave at December 6th

We celebrate his birthday on December 5th

when he brings lots of presents in a big jute bag!

So I helped Sinterklaas a bit and made 
an instant Sinterklaas evening
for December 5th
It holds chocolates in the shape of Sinterklaas,
Hot Chocolate, Sinterklaas Tea
and Pepernoten (Ginger cookies)

And this is the tag I made for it

during the Sneaky Peekies
I grabbed my chances
and thought...let's do it today!

Let's use this awesome DSP and make a cute bag
for my Kruidnootjes (Ginger cookies)
These Kruidnootjes are very tied to this period in time
On November 12th Sinterklaas will arrive 
in the Netherlands and the most fun and special time
will start!!

It is our Dutch "Xmas" but we celebrate Xmas
as well, but in our house Santa doesn't brings
the gifts but Sinterklaas does, on December 5th

And his helpers, Zwarte Pieten, carry candy with them 
and their trademark are these Kruidnootjes, mmmmm
So to make a cute bag for it I deceided to extend 
one of my favorite dies again!

My Creative Time - I Need A Favor

 Welcome to another "I need a Favor"

My number 1 thing I like to make are favors,
little gifts for people I know and
with these small gifts I like to surprise them.

Tomorrow we celebrate the Dutch "Halloween"

only it is not a dress up/scary festivity, I think it is much better

It is a festivity for childeren

On 11 November, children the country will be going door to door,

lanterns burning usually made at school 

with a light and adorably singing songs 

in exchange for candy.

It’s time for Saint Martin,
the second best-known saint in the Netherlands.

(Number one is ofcourse Sinterklaas)

Most of us get mini chocolate bars because
usually lots and lots of childeren will come to your door.

But unfortunately they pass my door a lot, 

so I will treat my co workers to some cute favors in honor of November 11th

This is what I made

This Shopping Bag Die holds 2 mini bars which is awesome.
I printed Dutch words on cardstock
to create my own background

I love this bag so much, if your paper is not too thick

you can run two pieces through your die cutting machine

and stick them together for this cute bag!

I folded the top to make it interesting

I love to make 3-D projects, they are my favorite!

And I like to stretch the dies where ever I can
because I really want to use these amazing dies
so when I need a little bigger example, I try to make it!

I cut the die 4 times instead of 2 times and tadaa a bigger bag!

And when that happened....I just had to make him 💓
He was so easy to make because MCT has these amazing dies
which you can Mix&Match, you only have to use your imagination!

So here is my Froggie, I think I am in love....

And can you tell why I used this sentiment? :)

Tip:

The stamps are easy to bend, 
so place your banner under your stamping block 
and shape your stamp into the shape of the banner 
and tadaa, it will stamp and fit perfectly!!
