My Creative Time - Make It Manly

 Welcome to "Make it Manly" Tuesday
at My Creative Time

Yes we agree that is always more difficult to make
a masculine card right?

So I had a look on Pinterest (yes dangerous hihi)
and when you type in "Male cards" you get a lot of ideas

And I saw this one and had to make it
because we just bought ourselves a new
Weber BBQ, a shiny black one

And with that the chef has to wear an apron right?

So this is what I made
using the goodies of MCT

I so love that you can make something
completely different with her dies!!!

Pocket Treat Die (to make the base of the apron)
Happy Rainbow Dies (to make the ends to tie a bow at the back)

I Need A Favor - My Creative Time

I love this day! 

My number 1 thing I like to make are favors,
little gifts for people I know and
with these small gifts I like to surprise them.

And they so appreciate it, it brings a smile to 
their face and that is worth all the effort

This favor I have made many times
as a treat for birthdays
They are one of my favorite animals

Soooooooo my mind went "bananas" 
so many things...and just pick one

And ofcourse I want to make something different

So what is nicer than an hot beverage on a cold
Wintery day!

With your mittens ! But Emma doesn't have a mitten
so I made one, just like my winter cap I made

With Emma's dies it is easy peasy

This is what I made!
It's a giftcard holder for Starbucks

I love it!!!

Supplies I used

Coffee Gift Card Holder Die
Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies (to make the mitten and run this 
through an knitted look embossingsfolder)
More Big Word Dies (I put the white word on an adhesive sheet)
I used glitter paper for the background to make it look cold

Welcome to another Giftcard Giving Thursday
and there are so many options in the store

I get inspired every day and although I have seen this fold
many times, Angela McKay inspired me

And ofcourse I had to make another animal to fill up the "Zoo"

As you might know I was inspired by the reindeer, 
then I created Miss Cow

 

And now I would like to introduce you to Miss Piggy (hihihi)
and I also was inspired by this little Piggy, I love how she wears the bandana

I adjusted the measurements

the card is originally 8,5"by 5,5" (score at 2"and 3 1/8"both sides)

but then the giftcard wouldn't fit

so I adjusted it to 22 cm wide

and scored at 5-3-3-5 cm

the middle part is 6 cm which is perfect for the giftcard

The panels on the back were adjusted to fit the card

As you know I like to think outside the box and while I was sitting at the hair dressers this idea popped into my head!!!

I just cut an extra E and this is what I made
Isn't she the cutest???

This is how I made the body

Cut strips of 1 cm and stuck them on adhesive sheet
