I love to make a nice gift

which is Quick and Easy
but has a WOW factor!

So when I see a cute treat in the store, I buy in bulk"
afraid that when I need them they are sold out
The Netherlands doesn't have as many cute chocolates
and candy like in the USA
(maybe that is best :) for me anyway hihihi)

So while cleaning my Craftroom I went through my 
Cute Candy Stuff and found these Chocolate Bunny's
And they need to be eaten by 11.2021

So why not use them right?
And use My Creative Time Stamps to complete them

This is what I made
and you know I like to stretch my dies

Tip
By putting the ribbon around the bar it is easy to pull out
when you pull the ribbon on top

 

Supplies I used
Festive Branch Dies MCT-D290
Tall Tag Frame Die Layers MCT-D312
 Stitched Lollipop Holder Die MCT-D08-1

This is how you can make it too

So die cut two Tall Tag Frame dies
Then score at 1,5 cm on three sides

Click here to change from cm to inches

Then cut the two squares at the bottom to the score line

And make them a bit smaller

  

Then glue the squares to the middle piece on

the inside
Do this to both cut outs
And you can slide them into each other
Put glue on the three sides and you have a treatholder

Really made in minutes! 

Easy to mass produce

I think it is always a little bit more work
to come up with something cute for a guy, 

but with the help of My Creative Time it isn't that hard.

So my husband loves stroopwafels! You might have heard of them

According to Dutch culinary folklore,
stroopwafels were first made in Gouda 
either during the late 18th century or the early
19th century by bakers repurposing
scraps and crumbs by sweetening them with syrup.

One story ascribes the invention of the stroopwafel
 to the baker Gerard Kamphuisen,
which would date the first stroopwafels from
somewhere between 1810,
the year he opened his bakery, and 1840, t
he year of the oldest known recipe for syrup waffles. 

Stroopwafels were not found outside Gouda until 1870,
by which point the city was home to around 100 syrup-waffle bakers.

After 1870 stroopwafels began to appear in other cities
and in the 20th century,
factory-made stroopwafels were introduced.
By 1960, there were 17 factories in Gouda alone,
of which four are still open.
Today, stroopwafels are sold at markets,
by street vendors and in supermarkets.

Since 2016 United Airlines has been serving stroopwafels
as a breakfast snack on its domestic flights.

So I got a package of 2 stroopwafels and made
a cute bellyband around it

Belly Band Dies MCT-D114 cut twice and cut the orange one in half to make a border

Pretty Treat Topper (revised) MCT-D192-1

Stitched Lollipop Holder Die MCT-D08-1 to make the stroopwafels

ABC Dies MCT-D266
