Hooray, It's Cuttlebug Tuesday!

This will be another great month at the Cuttlebug Spot, because this month we are all about accessories/embellishments on your projects!
This week the theme is "Ouch" Hat Pins!

Hope you will join us in the fun and the randomly chosen entry for this week's challenge will win a $20.00 gift certificate to Custom Crops. Good luck!!

And please don't forget to check what my teammembers have created!

So this truly was a challenge for me!!! But it is good to get challenged and get out of your safety zone! Still...hatpins.....I never wear hats! The last time I did my BFF got married in the UK which was in 1993! So I had to search for hatpins...I have looked in many stores, but hatpins are difficult to find in the Netherlands...although we wear many costums! (LOL) Anyway.... I had to be inventive! And I found this very long needle! That has worked as well!

I had also got a hold of these gorgious felt roses! In my favorite color, purple! So I put very strong glue on the needle and then put the purple flower on top. Be careful you don't glue your fingers to it! Then I chose purple beads and a purple ribbon to make a bow!

I made a little box around it (so sorry the tissuepaper is really pink but goes red on the camera...must have been because it was Oscar night! LOL) I then made a hat, the idea I got from one of my favorites Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. I ran my circles, which I cut also with the Cuttlebug, through a lovely folder (sorry brandless). And a purple bow to go with the hat. And the saying I came up with myself so I typed it on the computer! Not bad for a Dutch girl is it? LOL.

The Cuttlebug is opgefraaid!
