My Creative Time - Tag It!

Welcome to Tag You're It
at My Creative Time

Tags are the best way to make everything better right?

Even if you want to give something small
but meaningful

It is the finishing touch
and it is quick and simple
with MCT 

So being the only DT member from Europe

I would like to introduce our traditions
and with the Ephemera's and papers and dies from MCT
I can adjust them to our traditions in the Netherlands

So I have told you that Sinterklaas is coming to our country,

So at work we will be celebrating Sinterklaas as well
and he will come to work, for the little kids.

So we like to help Sinterklaas out and I made these cute
little bags with yummies for them

He will be arriving this Saturday the 15th of November

During this time we like to eat Kruidnoten (little gingerbread cookies)

ánd hot chocolate ofcourse!

So for today I made a little cute box that holds both of these things
and it is going to be cold so I used the cute mittens and sentiment
"Tis the season" for the tag because
it can also be used for Sinterklaas right?

And I just love the combo of this paper, the box and tag
and it is super easy to put together so nice if you
need to make a bunch! I love that

at My Creative Time

So being the only DT member from Europe

I would like to introduce our traditions
and with the Ephemera's and papers and dies from MCT
I can adjust them to our traditions

So this Friday is very exciting because it is the start of

my favorite season....Sinterklaas

Sinterklaas will come from Spain with his steamboat and his
helpers, Black Peters (black because they climb into the chimney) 
and his horse OzoSnel.

They are already on their way and will arrive in our country
November 15th!!

We celebrate big on the 5th of December
with presents like you do on Christmas Day

So we love to help Sinterklaas as much as we can!
So he has sent Pepernoten our way, those are little Gingerbread
cookies the Black Peters hand out to all the little childeren
They are very yummie and we make sure they have enough to hand
out when they arrive

My husband and I will be standing near the boat so the Black Peters can fill
their sacks so they can give the Pepernoten to the childeren.
And believe me....they need a lot

So a sweet lady, who has helped Sinterklaas for decades
is opening her house this Friday so 30 volunteers sit around one big long
table to prepare the pepernoten!

Always a lot of fun!

And so I bought her this cute mug, with a typical Sinterklaas
saying...."when sweet, you get a treat"

And I made a matching tag to got with and the supplies I used
I have mentioned under the photo's
